Update...a thank you to my wife

I recently had a lot of things happen in January. Many things. All, very very stressful. Times have been hard, and now, my wife's car broke down.

After reviewing everything that happened, my wife looked at buying a new car. She couldn't due to some issues I can't talk about. Needless to say, I went to the dealer, brought the car she looked at home for a weekend test drive. Without her knowing, I put the car in my name, got her another 1200 bucks for her trade in, and got the price of the new car down 4,000 bucks! We are not in the best financial situation since I have had to buy new equipment for my job, and she has too. With all the things she has done for me, and just...accepting me for who I am....she deserved this.

So, I took her up to the dealer, and in front of everyone, she started crying. "Why do you do this stuff for me?" Simple....it's because I love her. Might be mad at her some times, but I do love her.

Sums up my better half too, but I think she has had good reason to be more than mad with me over the years.

Thank you all! We did have a big rough patch. Things just never seemed to be improving. Now, things are looking up. My kids are all better, my wife no longer has to drive her old hunk of junk, and I couldn't be happier. I can not wait for work to be over this week! It's nice outside, and I plan on using the time to go on a road trip.
