    Doing a crossdressing transformation service

    Hi all!

I am first time crossdresser and I was wondering if anyone had try out any crossdressing transformation services? Like boy to girl transformations.

Could y'all tell me about your experiences and what to expect?

For example, will I wear everything a girl would wear when she is dressing up?

Also, what outfits y'all recommend or are like a must do.

I will be going to Phoebes Cross in Atlanta, Ga.

We have a great transformation service here called Rainbow Transformations. While I have never had a transformation, I do frequently buy clothes and other services. A good transformation service will find a look that is appropriate for you and will make you look feminine, whatever outfits they put you in.

Depending on what they offer, it could be makeup only, or the full works with you using their full supply of wigs, clothes and accessories with pics. One thing to realize is that they are normally expensive and it may not be something that you would want to do frequently.

I had a transformation done and depending on your situation it may, or may not be worthwhile.

In my example I didn't have the resources or skill at the time to do a proper full MtF transformation and at the same time the stress around my gender issues was really high and I needed to see my real self.
Long story short: I can't remember the last time I was that happy, nor have I been since.
I saw my real self in the mirror, and I wasn't repulsed like I usually am when I look at my male image.

The experience was an affirmation that I'm on the right path, but it's not something I would do frequently due to the large cost.
Expect at least $100 per hour, but everything should be included in that.

    Hi Felix,

I have used a few mtf transformation services. Depending on what you want and what is offered, this can be just makeup application to a full photo shoot session. From what I can see, you will be using the wardrobe, wigs, etc that they have. Yes you will be wearing what a woman wears. This is fine and they should help you find something that looks good. Of course everyone has their own style and should make choices they like. Therefore I don't recommend any particular outfits nor are any must dos. If you have more questions it's definitely a good idea to call the service and ask them. After all this is why they are in this business. The most important thing is for you to have a great experience. Have fun!

I once went to one in the UK but it was very expensive. You can buy everything you'll ever need and be made up and taught about cosmetics and spend time with other CDers and female staff who understand.

In my opinion not worth the money.

Victoria is great! I did a full transformation in January and she spent about an hour on my makeup. I was shocked at how good I looked--no dark shadow, great eyes, incredible choice in wig--what a day. I'm still processing it and learning from what happened. She has a party in June that I'm going to. It will be my first really public outing though I'll probably dress there (or more like finish dressing there).

My transformation experience there was a life changing event for me and worth the cost. YMMV.

I've done 3 transformations with 3 different people

First was makeup and a few head shots. I came with my own girl clothes.

Second was makeup and photo shoot with about 250 photos on CD. She had a wide assortment of clothes to select from, plus wigs and corsets. I had 4 different outfits, two were from her closet and two were from my closet. Obviously, it was Bring Your Own Underwear. She was able to provide the outfits with all the accessories, including earrings, necklace and shoes. One of the outfits from her closet was a wedding dress. See my profile pic

Third was just a makeover, but I had photos scheduled with a photographer later in the day.

You should check with Phoebes Cross to see what you can and what you should bring.

Her rates for services seem quite reasonable. For me, it was the best money I ever spent. I actually looked hot. I would have hit on me.
Hi, I'm Steffi and I'm a crossdresser... And I accept and celebrate both sides of me. Or, maybe I'm gender fluid.

I had a transformation a few years ago and, although it was expensive, it was well worth it. I'd always wanted to see what a professional dresser and make-up artist could do with my appearance and it took my breath away. I'd always felt like a woman and here I finally looked like one. Most pleasing of all was that I looked so comfortable and natural as a woman. However, despite the price, I came away with only two photos from the day.

I'm shortly to have another makeover. I've seen this person's work and it is stunning. You choose the number of hours you want and you are made up and try out different outfits from a wide range. You have to take along your own underwear. You also take along your camera and can have as many pictures taken as you want. I'm pleased to say the make-up artist is also a pretty decent photographer!

I've been talking with my hair stylist about salons that do total makeovers. This is in a small town safely tucked away and easily accessible. I've also offered to coach her about CD personalities and what to expect to make it easy for everyone. She is considering it. She's fine with me! We'll see what happens.

I have been to Glamour Boutique in Auburn, MA which is also another really safe place. While there one gal completed her makeover and looked awesome! She seemed a little self conscious but the rest of us were sure to reassure her. After awhile she began to feel great! She walked out very happy!

Thanks for the advice! I'll let the professional pick my outfits and look as y'all said. At the end is all about making me look girly and having fun with a modeling photoshoot.

Nervous about the photoshoot though, I have never done any modeling!

    Felix,
Be guided by the experts here.
It can be expensive and extremely satisfying.
I had my girlfriends do me over regularly and they were expert at it.
I just had to go out with them dressed as a girl.
That was my part of the contract.
    Work on your elegance,
    and beauty will follow.

I don't known where you live, but my advice would be if you can find a reputable cross-dressing service near you; check any comments about it and, if it is reasonably reccommended; go for it. i use a dressing service in the UK all the time and I LOVE it.

Went to a makeover. Got the 19.99 job. They ran out of bondo for this old chassis. Make up booth sure was big with a lot of bright, hot lights. Think it was called Maaco.

Hey Felix, don't be worried about the photoshoot. I've just had the makeover I mentioned earlier in this thread, and the posing was huge fun. By the end of the day I had learned lots about how subtle changes of position communicated different moods and messages. I loved it! It's all part of the enjoyment of the day.

You can see a photo from my shoot in the 'Picture and Video Gallery' to get an idea of how professional these services can be.

I can only wish that I would have done it sooner. The 1st one had was maybe 10 years ago and I have had 7 since. Amy at "Just You" in Vegas does a wonderful job and makes you feel as if this is just a very natural thing. Have also been to "Roris" in Chicago and will be going back there in June and this will be the 3rd time. Have also had 2 done by Stephanie in Vegas. I usually leave the place dressed but really do not end up going anyplace other than for a ride and maybe fast food. I didn't feel any of them were expensive. The most I paid was $85 by Amy, but well worth it. Have fun..

Las Vegas - transformation with Amy - didn't know what to expect - excited, nervous - arrived as "he" - left as "she" - it was terrific. She did full transition makeup and then turned my chair around so I could see myself - I was beautiful and felt beautiful. My wife loved it and wants me to do it again.

I did make a mistake, however. After Amy finished my makeup, she suggested that I get my wig and change into feminine attire at her shop, as she had advised me to do. I went outside to my car and then realized that I had forgotten my bag with wig/dress/heels in my hotel room. Panic. Nothing I could do but drive back to the hotel, park, walk through the casino and busy lobby, enter a crowded elevator, walk to my room - with false eyelashes, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, long fingernails, short guy hair cut, guy jeans and guy tee shirt. I did just that and acted like I wore full makeup and dressed as a male all the time. Result - no looks, no stares, no smiles, no pointing at me. It was Vegas.

I never thought there was such a thing as a service to help you dress right. There are none around here to try but I do like the idea.

Hi, I tried a crossdressing service once and I really enjoyed the experience. But, it is very expensive so its important to try and plan what you want to wear before going there. The place I went to had a really good range of women's clothes and provided a makeover service. Its worth seeing if they offer things such as going shopping or to a club with you. Best of luck

I did a couple times just to get a GG's opinion & insight. Was fun. Worth it. But I always get carried away buying clothes, shoes etc while there waiting for my appointment (have a habit of showing up early for EVerything).

Yeah...of course arrive as the girl you are. Don't worry about it. You're just another customer. You'll get makeup color & technique tips if she's good at it. And it's like...wow...I've seen some uber hot M2F chicks at the salon I visited. Mad-sexy girls that I couldn't keep my eyes off of. Sheesh!

I went to see Phoebe Cross on Thursday, while I can't vouch for any other service
I can say that for your first time you can't go wrong with Phoebe, she is a lovely lady
who will put you at ease.
For my first time I am glad I choose her, she chatted with me and made me feel very comfortable.

Let us know how it went
