Just how did I end up here stories.

Have any of you girls ever found yourselves dressed, and in really strange situations? Or, dressed entirely inappropriatly? Like showing up in an evening gown, and every ones wearing jeans. Or, you show up as Marlyn Monroe, only to find out it's not a costume party.
    Share your entertaining stories.

He's a quick one. I was hired to play guitar at a convention luncheon, in St. Jacob, the heart of Amish (or is it Menonite?) Country. They wanted me to set up at 7:00 am, and play at noon.
I was really early, and the venue was locked up, so I thought I'd grab some breakfast. I was to be given a dressing room, so I walked into the diner in 'roadie Celeste' mode- flats, skinny jeans, a purple hoodie, boobs, and day makeup.
Whoda' thunk that the room would be chock full of black suited Amish farmers? The food was excellent, nobody said boo, and the show later went well.
Sometimes I just have to wonder- How did I end up here?

When I lived in Chicago back in the 1990's, there was a popular nightclub that had a monthly drag night one Sunday per month, and I decided to go there with two friends, neither of them CD's, one male and one female, just for a fun evening out and about. I dressed in my favorite LBD, got all dolled up and away we went. Paid our cover, went in and discovered that we had the wrong night. It was "Country 2-step" night. It was an interesting experience, and while initially upsetting, it turned out to be an enjoyable one, didn't get any bad reactions.

They probably thought that you were just another iteration of those ungodly, morally bankrupt, and beyond-any-hope-of redemption "English" that they take such great pains to isolate themselves from in their tight-knit and fundamentalist religious communities, and simply went about their business eating and socializing while trying hard not to get "contaminated" by your presence.

I was a young guy and saw a nightclub poster that had cheap meals, photos of pretty girls and saucy entertainment listed.
All male revue.. Like now when I post in the wrong spot I had selective reading difficulties and overlooked the all male revue.

In I go for a bit of cheap food and entertainment.
Sitting by myself I was singled out by this nice lass on stage with the deep voice.
"Come here love and make a name for yourself, would you like to be on the stage?"
"Er! yes", I was eighteen and knew everything except about female impersonators.

Half an hour later I am Miming, "I enjoy being a girl" of course dressed appropriately.

What the hell am I doing here?

After that it was all progression and a bit of history.
    Work on your elegance,
    and beauty will follow.

I have always found that black-suited Amish farmers are a lot more tolerant than the average person. I don't think it is fair to them to make this generalization.

Several years ago I frequented this lesbian bar! I was always dressed to the nines! My last time there it changed into a red-neck joint over night! I was the only female in there! needless to say I left after my second drink!
If you don't like the way I'm livin', you just leave this long haired country girl alone:

I could write a book full of them, but here's a goody; I was to meet a friend at an upscale bar one evening. I'm all dressed up and head in. I walk into a biker bar. Right address, just one block too far east.

If you want older stories, I was somewhere around 12-13 and did halloween wearing my sisters maroon velvet micro-minidress (with matching pantie cover - that ought to date it) and had bugged my Mom to let me ToT as a girl and she finally gave in. Underneath I wore a padded bra that had been my Sister's, a pair of pantyhose, Sis' black Go-Go boots, and Mom's butt-length (on me) wig (which happened to be the same hair color as my own). Mom then did my makeup (quite well) and sent me out. Everyone knew I was a boy dressed as a girl because a girl just doesn't go out ToT looking like a normal version of herself...it was fun.

The "wrong attire for the location" came when I got back home about an hour later. We had moved about 6 months prior and I was to go to a friends house in our old neighborhood for a party and wanted to change into "normal" clothes. Well, Mom said she didn't have any makeup remover and I'd look really silly dressed like a boy and wearing makeup so she all but insisted that if I was going to the party I go as I was. I really think she was trying to embarrass me dressed as I was but it didn't work. I went to the party and those that knew me thought I had a cool costume. Those that didn't know me (including a lot of parents) just thought I was another girl as there were several girls there not in costume. I was treated like a totally normal person (a girl) all evening long. The girls that were there treated me like another girl as well as the boys (even the ones that knew I wasn't a girl). Course, I did my best to act like one as well. For a young budding trans-gender, it was a wonderful evening.
Oh...and she found her makeup remover when I got home.

    Exclamation

This happened at my first DLV. Well before I was used to, (ok, a LITTLE MORE used to), being out dressed.

It was a private, all Tgirl nite at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Vegas where I was told almost any sort of outfit, or lack of, was ok.

After an exciting and exhibitionist nite there, Sherry got lost driving back to the hotel. I found myself driving down the Strip at prime time, (midnite), in bumper to bumper traffic, the sidewalks packed, and my gas gauge banging on empty!

I visioned myself coasting to a stop in a red zone in front of a casino dressed as a half naked hooker! Then, waiting for triple A or a police ordered tow truck while being laffed at and/or hit on by the drunk guys going by!

Suddenly, like some kind of mirage, a gas station appeared between the casinos and clubs! I cut across traffic and zoomed in. Walking to the cashier and pumping gas in front of the wide eyed folks there seemed like NOTHING compared to how bad it could have been!

Here I am, gratefully and safely back in my room!
