    Does anyone else collect anything?

I have always enjoyed collecting various things like music, books, etc. Lately l have purchased some ceramic dolls and swan figurines.

Are these collections related to my love of CDing, and does anyone else collect non-clothing items that express their feminine self?

I collect figurines of girls/women playing banjos. Weird, huh! I also collect recordings of music. All kinds of music but mostly Renaissance and Baroque music. If I listened to it 24/7 for the rest of my life, I couldn't listen to my collection again.

I collect vintage earrings (have 120 pair) that I also wear.... old cameras (1900-1950) and vintage nail pullers... (1870s-1920s)... even have a book on nail pullers with all the patent dates... I'm the only one I know that owns a couple dozen nail pullers.... they are really neat devices and I still use them to pull nails out when I'm demoing something... people already think I'm different before they find out I collect nail pullers! lol

I have a nice Amy Brown Faery collection of figurines, posters and at books. Love her work, and she inspired me to create the Fae queen I portray in houston every year since 2005

I collect several things. My favorite collection is several hundred Hard Rock guitar pins. I used to travel all over the world and everywhere I went I looked for a Hard Rock Cafe to buy the pin with that city's name on it.
I also collect real guitars but only have 12 of them. I collect DVD movies - several hundred - I used to have a collection of ceramic bells....she got them in the divorce though. I really liked them so I may start it over again.

Not sure if any of this counts as an expression of my feminine self (all I am is feminine) but it is a reflection of me.
All I ever wanted was to be a girl. Is that really asking too much?

If guitars are girly and I guess they could be I have had lots of them even a few pink ones.
150 was my high count at one time and I'm down to 15 -16 I think just haven't counted lately.
I have started collecting hair accessories like ribbons and barrettes.

Here is one that every one called way too girly.

sounds really sexy. is this collection inspired by the infamous Nabokov book of the same name, which chronicles a middle aged professors obsession with a young woman?

I collect anything I think I can use later... I don't really collect a lot of physical things just for the purpose of collecting, but tend to collect knowledge, I have tried to learn just about everything I can about how to Cd and same for other interests I have.

I have a collection of cloisonne pins, from various different places and organizations. Some of the ones I have are quite unusual!

To answer the question, I do not know whether those things are connected with your love of CD'ing.
I do involve myself with my wife and help her collect owls.
They do make a mess and the amount of mice you have to collect to feed them.

I have a good collection of date nails. They are not CD related.
I have a myriad of other collectibles also.
    Work on your elegance,
    and beauty will follow.

    aren't owls really wise?

I don't have any owls but boy this Barbara Nichols another poster mentioned has already inspired my CD'ing.

Must shop for some memorabilia online!
