    Do THEY know bout you?

    Or you about THEM?

How do you know for a fact that none of your brothers [or sisters] is also a CD?

I know my brother is not, since we are pretty open with each other and he knows all about my pantyhose collection. My sister has many things going on in her life and we are not as close, but I have never been given any reason to pause over her dressing habits or desires. She's pretty bold. If she were into alternate expressions in clothing, I think she would let it be known, but who knows? Secrets are by definition secrets.

    Cheers,

    Kalista

I don't know if they do. My intuition says no. I think they also have suspicions about me. I've always been a little different and my mother knows I paint my toe nails, therefore my sister knows bout my toes and therefore the whole family knows because my sister tells everything unless you ask her to keep it a secret.

My family is the kind where they will be nice to you and then talk about you when you are not around......I'm sure I'm not alone here.

I do not know for a fact...but there has never been any evidence to suggest it. In my case the evidence was apparent in the behaviors my siblings and parents found...effeminate. Of course years later my ex wife made it common knowledge.

Two brothers, I doubt if either one ever even gave it a thought. Both of them have worn beards all there adult lives, and neither one has ever cared about things like there weight, grooming, looks of their nails or any of the other tells that most of us have.
One of them did know about me, and as far as I can tell, took my secret to his grave. While he was never judgmental, he also never admitted to any interest in that fact that I was.
I just told him I was a cross dresser, he asked what's that, I explained it to him, and for 35 years we never talked of it again.

That's a good question, one I've wondered about. I'm pretty sure they don't know about me, and I can't say that I know about them.

Yes and no. My oldest sister knows about my crossdressing, but she isn’t the least bit interested in it. My other sister has NO idea I’m a crossdresser, and I have no intention of telling her. It’s not something I would share with a conservative-minded individual…

My oldest sister would often dress as a male for Halloween, and she would accompany her younger brother on his appointed rounds. However, “official” crossdressing was not the intention, nor was Halloween a catalyst for future CD adventures – both of my sisters are quite normal, which gives me something to “springboard” off of…

My youngest brother knows all about me. He never found out about it, for it was just last November I was on the phone with him and i told him everything about me. I left nothing out. We have talked about it maybe 4 times since then. We even covered some more of it when I was at his house 2 weeks ago. All is good in that. My last wife had only heard about it from her daughter that found a VHS tape of me back in 1997. But she sort of shrugged it off, till the divorce started coming down the line, I had to pay her a lot of hush money in that divorce. She knew very little of it. But now she knows everything, the reason? My current wife was upset at me one day and while I was at work my current wife called my ex wife and told her all about it, but she told it her way as to make sure that all of the social negatives went along with it. So I got on the phone with her after years of silence, and we talked all about it and got some things cleared up. But at that time, I thought it was none of the ex's business. The ex had told some untruth's about me and I just wanted to get it straightened out. So, it's my youngest brother, and my ex and my current wife knows. I even invited my ex to come over and visit Snow and I, and she was going to come over, but Snow didn't want her to see Tara, so that didn't happen.
As for as my other siblings are cd's, I wouldn't know if they were, I really don't think any of them are. I just know them that way. It's just a guess on my part, and I could be wrong.

As far as I am aware I am the only CD in my family, lucky me! My brother and mother as well as mother and father in law and spouse have all seen me dressed and have been supportive. I love and respect them and they obviously do the same for me.

Thirty's years ago when I was going through my divorce my wife at the time told my family that I enjoy dressing as a woman and used that as the excuse as to why we were getting a divorce. She didn't bother telling them that she was seeing somebody else at the time.
I don't really know if they believe her or not. My secrets are mine and there's are there's.
Funny thing a month after my divorce the ex got remarried so that to the blame off of me.

I can't know for sure that my brother is a CDer but I highly doubt that he is. The phrase "it takes one to know one" comes to mind and all the things I know about my brother (which is a lot) lead me to think that he's not a CDer ... and btw, no, he doesn't know about me either.

I have three sisters and with them being GGs, they wear whatever they want with no flack from anyone. Such is the life of a GG. As for me, only one of my sisters and her husband knows. She is closest to me in age (3 years older) and relationship. She has been amazing and a total blessing to me. Her husband is someone i dont really talk to much...not because we dont get along, but we live 3000 miles apart and he works a ridiculous amount of hours. He of course jumped to the average stereotype and was like...hes probably gay. He was like...theres nothing wrong with that, to each their own, but ya...hes probably gay. My sister of course defended me and explained things to him but whatever. I dont really care what he thinks because i never see or talk to him. If and when im ready to fully come out to the world, ill just simply tell my other two older sisters and im sure theyll spread the word like wildfire...hence the reason i have not told them. My sister that knows, spends her days at her computer online with me on chat and we do virtual window shopping and pick out shoes we love or nice outfits. She really is amazing. I wish she was 3000 miles closer. If she was, id probably be 100% more comfortable coming out and just flat out being me. Its that family support that makes all the difference.

Two sisters so no, no other CDs in the immediate family. One accepts totally as does her husband and one absolutely does not accept nor does her husband.

I have three brothers (I had four, one is alas deceased). None of them know about Amy. I don't think any of them are CDs, although one is gay (and I suspect my late brother was as well). I don't have any good reason to tell them at this point.

I've had suspicions of other men in my family. I know my nephew has dabbled in lingerie and prefers women's cotton underwear 24/7. I've never thought my older brother had CD inclinations, and as we're getting older I wish I had the balls to tell him. But lately I've wondered if he's been hiding the same secret... wouldn't that be ironic if we have both been afraid to reveal this for all of these decades?

I have two brothers and two sisters. My oldest brother was a women's clothing fetishist and focused on lingerie. He oversexualized younger girls, and still sometimes does, which is a little creepy considering his age now. He also collected a lot of porn, none of which involved transgender. When I was a teenager, he almost caught me once while I was looking through his collection, so I guess he suspects. Also when we were teens, my younger sister caught me once, after she snuck into the house at 3AM and surprised me. She didn't think I should continue dressing up, so, combined with my brother's suspicions and my sister's knowledge, I went way into the closet until I moved out for college.

I do not think anyone in my family knows. There may be some doubt or curiosity lately though. When I do come out to them all it would be easier if they said they kind of knew.

My brother is gone so he probably knows.
All I ever wanted was to be a girl. Is that really asking too much?
