I just received my CalPERS Health Care Open Enrollment Notice. As I glanced through it, I noticed that SRS is now covered as of January 1, 2014! City of Berkeley started doing this a couple of years ago and now it has spread to the agency that covers State and many City and County employees and retirees.
Although I have no plans to take advantage of this, it is a real milestone for everyone and should be very influential on other health plans.
