    CD Pork Chop

I decided to go to Cracker Barrel for dinner tonight. Got all dressed up, wanting to look pretty. I ordered the pork chop dinner. Had nice exchanges with the fellow waiting on me. Everyone treated me nicely.

When I got the printed bill, it said "CD PORK CHOP". I chuckled. Did he read me as a CrossDresser? (Not that I was aware of). Did I get a CrossDressed Pork Chop? (It looked ordinary to me.)

Here at home, I went online to see the menu. It was a "Country Dinner Pork Chop".

Still, I had a good laugh.

    Cute story!

We've been talking about relocating and one of our criteria is that there can't be a Cracker Barrel within 40 miles. We're CB addicts and any closer would bring on early demise. Love the Uncle Hershel breakfast, and the greens, and the okra, and the ...

    Hugs,

There's an actual drag queen named Victoria "Porkchop" Parker, so maybe the meal was in her honor? But then maybe it should have been "DQ Pork Chop?"

We have a freezer full of TV dinners, no one comes over to eat though.

The last time I went to Cracker Barrel, there was a TG cashier wotking there. That was probably 10 years ago, so don't know what happened to that girl. Evidently CB was okay with it though.

Got a chuckle out that story, it would make one wonder, and yes as suggested maybe a bit of paranoia.

We used to eat at Crakcer Barrel a lot but then one time while on business I ended up at Black Eye Pea and have not been back to cracker barrel since.

My wife and I love to stop at CB. She loves all of the decorator things and I like to look at the clothes. She has great taste about decorating the home, while I have none. The food always seems like in all restaurants to be either good or poor at times. It just seems to depend on who is cooking, although it has never been "bad". Have admit though, that they all have good restrooms and are a good stop while on the road. Better than truck stops.
