Just returned from a week in Paris and have to say that if European fashion inevitably makes it way to the New World we have reason to be optimistic.
It seems that most Parisienne women have a great sense of style and dress appropriately. Not once did I see over size, ratty sweats or pajamas worn in public!
Another observation that made me smile was that hosiery is very much in style, not just opaque tights but hose of all types and worn by women by all ages, usually with fabulous heels!
Interesting, when I have visited Paris I have seen the occasional fashion plate but generally Paris women just appear elegant.
Too many to turn the eye.
Work on your elegance,
and beauty will follow.
A comfort and a pleasure to know that there is still hope for femininity.
I hope it makes it way across the pond.
