    Handing in my man card

Over the last few months I've spent a lot of time in discovering you I am. And I've come to the conclusion that I'm no longer a man. Although I'm still male genetically, I no longer see my self as a man. I feel more confident and at peace with my self when presenting as a woman. Where I go from here in terms of transitioning is still to be decided, but I am starting to look into things for if I start.

For now I'm handing in my man card, and starting a new chapter in my life. The changes will probably be slow, no one really knows about my female side. And I've got to be careful how and to who I reveal my self too.

I hope things go well for you! I've done the same thing! My biggest regret is I waited so long to do so!
If you don't like the way I'm livin', you just leave this long haired country girl alone:

I never qualified for a man card in the first place. I still can't figure out how I became a father! I didn't think I COULD!

The good news is that you are able to make this decision while you are young enough to really live the life you want. There may be hard days ahead, but a good gender therapist will be able to help you through those days, especially in the early stages.

You are a beautiful woman, but even more important, never forget you are a beautiful PERSON! You have the right to make these choices and live the life you've wanted.

I wish I had been able to find a group like this when I was in my early twenties. It would have saved me so much pain, suffering, and frustration. If I knew then, what I know today, I would have wanted to transition ASAP. Fortunately, treatments are safer now, and surgical techniques have improved radically - when you reach that stage. Hope you have a long and happy life, and that you will continue to share your experience, strength, and hope with as you transition.

    Candice,

I wish you well on your journey. Just because you are choosing to live as a woman doesn't mean you have to hand in your man card. IMHO it takes a very big man to explore this side of who we are.

Candice, I'm sure that first step is a very scary one, but you have such an amazing presentation. I wish you the best with whatever you decide.

Good Luck! You've got the looks sorted anyway!
"Normal is what you get when you average out the weirdness that everybody has." Quote from my SO

Normal is a setting on a washing machine, or another word for average.

The fact that I wear a skirt as a male should not be taken as a comment on what you do, or do not wear, or how you wear it.

    Candace,

Good for you! Finally you are emerging from the stifling restrictions placed on men as far as clothing, grooming, and behavior.

I am slowly emerging from those restrictions, and to add icing the the cake my wife tells me all the time that I am not a man!

Years ago, I thought that I had a man-card but I was faking it. The truth was that I never had a man-card and therefore I didn't need to return one.

a man card? I never had one, I guess I never earned it
All I ever wanted was to be a girl. Is that really asking too much?
