I recognize that sometimes "first time out" stories can get old, so my apologies to those who are tired of such. Having issued that disclaimer, here is my story:
A few weeks ago I had my first experience out at a club. Went with a few friends, (1 guy in drab and 2 gg's) to a local 80's cover band called the Spazmatics and had an awesome time!
I was supposed to go last month, but ended up deciding against it because one of our friends was uncomfortable with cross-dressing. It's a shame to because a GG friend of mine was going to loan me a really cool dress and some red strappy heels... As it is, this is what I wore, except I substituted the heels for black knee length boots. I opted for no wig since it's so hot on the dance floor. (I totally understand why women wear less clothing than men, because long hair really does keep you warm.)
Overall, it was a very positive experience. I got a LOT of strange looks, but I felt like it really forced me out of my shell. Most people said it was fun being around someone who was so comfortable being who they are. One of the girls I was with kept telling everyone that I wasn't gay and the other one seemed a little turned on by my appearance as she kept dancing REALLY close to me. Cant' wait for next time since it's definitely something I want to do again. It might be a while since I have two of my children moving in with me next week, but when I do, I'll probably opt for a less androgynous look and actually try to pass.
Just wanted to share that little experience and tell everyone how much I appreciate your support and pray that you all have a wonderful Christmas.
Blessings and hugs,
SJ
PS - Funny side note: That is actually a men's shirt. The same one I wear to church on Sundays. LOL.
