You are correct in your first assessment of the myth. In fact, few cross dressers are gay. This fact is clearly reflected on this forum. It makes perfect sense as gay men are attracted to men.

You are wrong in your second aeeseement. Most cross dressers ARE straight. This fact is also represented well on this forum.

You are also wrong in your statement that "most" cross dressers are bi. The correct answer is "some" cross dressers are bi. Your conclusion can not be reached based on the facts in evidence here or in science.

I hope this clarity helps you
I am not sure it matters but if I had to put money on it, I would bet most cd's are heteroflexible...I like that word too.

You know, it's a damn fine thing y'all are such straight manly men! Because, surely a straight man in a dress is much more socially acceptable than some disgusting homosexual man! Yep, the world is never gonna accept the pole smokers, the fudge packers, the rump rangers! No WAY will those guys become socially accepted, be allowed to marry, just NO WAY!

Yup, thank god for the salt of the earth, red blooded, all American STRAIGHT crossdresser! You may be ensconced in taffeta, but by all that's holy, you aren't some disgusting perverted gay man!

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks?"

Sarcasm aside (because so many of you come off as so smug and superior on this matter), the reason you all are heterosexual CDs with gender identity issues rather than gay men is because clearly your luck in this hand of cards you were dealt in life sucks nearly as much as mine does. I'd MUCH rather have been a gay man than a transsexual. Some of you act as if being a straight CD is superior to being a gay man. Trust me, from the perspective of most of America, that just isn't the case.

I'll answer the original question that was asked, honestly this time.

The fact is, I've always been really attracted to, and had crushes on, men. I just never felt free to do anything about them. It never felt right as a man. And I could NEVER admit those feelings to myself.

Even after coming out as transsexual, and starting my transition, I found this hard to admit. I guess I internalized the homophobia I grew up with really well.

It turns out that I'm a woman who's really attracted to men. In fact I'm dating one now, and my past history with women feels like I wasted my time, and theirs.

I honestly think this is an unfair assessment, I would choose CD, bi or other porn over straight porn in most cases. In my opinion it has nothing to do with sexual preference, I just enjoy it, like I enjoy my husband dressing. It is more erotic and arousing to me, a GG, so I don't think I am a gay man, at least if I am, I am very closeted.

Not gay, but bi in which I get in these "girly" moods while dressed and entertain men. I love sometimes to perform a woman's part in sex while dressed. I am anally trained and very skilled at performing fellatio.

for what it is worth, I did some research of my own on this question of the preferred sexual orientations of crossdressers. Specifically I looked at Fetlife where individuals generally state their sexual orientations in their profiles. For the sample I examined a couple of hundred profiles and found that over 80% of them described themselves as bisexual or heteroflexible. Admittedly that is a bias sample in that not all crossdresser's will be interested in a using the fetlife website, but fetlife is quite popular and there are 1000's of transgender people on it.

Here is the post on my blog

Unfortunately or fortunately, this thread is done. Sniping is getting too common and the subject matter is getting beyond control. Go with what you got here and be happy.
