    Taking a break

After careful thought I have decided to put my dressing up on the back burner for now. Firstly I have very little disposable income to spend on clothing, secondly I have a baby on the way and I need to be fully focussed on that and thirdly I just hanvnt been 'feeling it' when Ive dressed lately. My interest in womens clothes and fashions is as strong as ever but I don't get the kick that I used to when I dress. Im sure in time when things settle down with the baby I will get the urge again but until then Andi is going back in the closet.

    Andi,

    Just a thought dear..

in your picture you are dressed up... maybe a thought to consider is to wear girl jeans, underwear, slip and shirt or such and just be casual about Andi... CDing for me comes in phases...

I am not going to let it go this time, Vanny will always be there, but she will be there in different forms, rather than not at all

Sleep well... Congratulations on the new family and having the love of a beautiful woman

Andi - there are always some things in life that have to come first, regardless of how passionate a drive we may have (or not...)

You are doing what any responsible father would do - many of us have been there - some return, some probably don't...

Congratulations and wish you and your family health and happiness for the future.

    Hi Andi,

Congratulations on the upcoming addition to your family. Being focused on what is important to you is nothing you have to explain and only shows the dedication and love you have toward your family. I am sure when things get back on a steady state Andi will come out to play again. I wish you the best of luck with your family and life . . . see you when you get back.

    Hugs

Andi, what you've described is the exact course of action I took when my baby girl showed up. She's 27 now. That's a great show of priority and maturity on your part. Of course, you can always check in every now and then once the original flurry calms down. And, enjoy parenthood. It really is an amazing occupation and, well, it's really the only thing we have to get right.
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

Good for you Andi. I just love it when one of us shows your kind of maturity and selflessness. Children come first and are a worthy sacrifice of our hobbies and obsessions. Trust me, they'll be out of the house preferring their own friends all too soon.

    Hi Andi,
The advice I heard was "no matter how hard you think it is, it'll be harder" and we were pretty intimidated as new parents.

You know what? Turns out it wasn't that bad.

Sure your life will permanently change, but you'll see some rays of normal seeping in after a few months. Whatever your normal happens to be.

    Congratulations on the new addition.
I applaud your decision to put family before self. There have been many times that was hard thing for me to do, and quite a few times that I failed, but it was always my first choice. The family turned out to be close, happy, loving, and successful. Yours will too.

Not much desire here either-I'm going through a stressful family time and just no real desire. First things first I guess. It happens.

I have never been married, nor had children. I applaud you for this sacrifice. CDing can take over , and cause a mell ofa hess, even without famliy. My dressing is taking a back seat to mere gut surviving this cruel winter, and being broke, and low on food, plus the never ending trouble with my dad and brothers. I f they ever find out about my dressing, , it will be *^#@.

    Andi,
Quite normal, a greater interest in life occupies you at the moment and raising children is fun.
Come back when you are ready.

Andi, congratulations on having your priorities in order. That wife and baby has to come first - at least for the time being. I'm sure that we'll see you back at some point in the future when the time and circumstances are right! Go girl!

Andi, I to put my dressing up on the back burner when my children were born. I didn't come back to dressing up till they were teenagers. All daughters and a wife who dress nice got me going again. Yes putting family ahead of this is the right thing to do. You can always come back and will when the time comes.
