when I was about 8 or 9 years old, I would sometimes play with my sister---we had lots of games and my mom even taught us canasta around that time---my sis had a set of 4 paper dolls (this was way back in 1956!) --- they were about 10 inches high ---I absolutely loved the one named Mitzi, who was dressed for an act on the high trapeze. She was very lovely with a wonderful solid-color baby-blue leotard with matching colored ballet-slippers. I played with her a lot and wished I could be dressed just like in what she was wearing---of course no one else ever knew---my ideal costume now would be a playboy bunny outfit of the same color and 4 inch heels

Those Brats dolls are f'ing hideous...even Barbie is looking a little rough around the edges these days.

I'd be a troll...I'd pawn my jeweled belly button...take Barbie's jeep and her airplane. I'd run that town.

    No one suspects the troll.

Oh, I would probably be a Ken or GI Joe. And be required to wear only Barbie clothes or nothing while I cleaned the dream house all day.

I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

I like the bimbo Barbie. I must be a tramp (mentally).

The dominant Barbie is also interesting, is there a submissive Ken that goes with it. I would guess they did not complete the Barbie cave with hanging harness and what not... what could possibly be next?....

    One, Two, or Both.

for me it comes down to two choices. sadly no accessorizing for them, but they match me perfectly. an American Mcgee Alice, or a Harley Quinn doll.

I would have to say without a doubt--Fashion Barbie. And I'm sometimes in the mood to be a Brat(z).
