Have you ever seen someone you knew crossdressed?

As I was perusing the forums and the internet, it came to my mind that some of us must have seen people we knew dressed that we did not know did this. Maybe or maybe not...

None the less with CDing forums and such, I was thinking it is only a matter of time before your son/daughter come here seeking answers for themselves as crossdressers or as children of...

Has this ever happened to you or have you seen a friend or acquaintance CDing?

Yes, as a matter of fact I have. One of my hetero GM friends dressed up as a woman for Halloween one year, and went to a bar, and let guys buy him drinks. He looked really very passable, actually, I was stunned. When I came out to him as trans, he never indicated that this was anything more than a one-off, so I presume that's all it was. He was really good at it though! Hmmmmmm... <ponder ponder ponder>

Can't say that I have. I don't think anyone that knows me has seen me either. Of course I don't know for sure.

My best friend from high-school used to dress in sexy costumes every Halloween. I don't talk to him much anymore but he is on my FB friends list. I came out on Facebook recently that I am trans, he still hasn't said a word to me.

I don't think anyone I know has seen me completely dressed....I have had female friends give me hugs while underdressed, so I know they could feel my bra. Also this past Friday while playing video poker at a bar in a local casino I was filmed. A local news show was filming a super bowl story and they had me on the news Friday night. I didn't know about it but saw myself on the news. When I looked back on it and stopped the picture you could see my bra straps....sure nobody looked that close....

At Halloween parties, I have seen both co-workers and neighbors dressed.

I often think that if 5% or 10% of males crossdress, there is always someone else I am with who crossdresses, even if I don't see them dressed, and maybe a lot more who would like to try if they could.

I saw my father-in-law dressed one Halloween as a female. He looked terrible. He made absolutely no effort to be passable. He was in the company of his female friend. I suspect she put him up to it. I knew him many many years and there is a certainty he was not a cross dresser.

However, there was a guy down the street who ended up divorced because he was a cross dresser. I never knew him or his wife. My wife's female cousin worked with his wife. The couple had plans to buy a large lot in the neighborhood and build a home. It all broke apart because he was a CROSS DRESSER!!! YIKES!!! Of course that was in the late 1970's when there was much intolerance. There are twenty houses on our street. There are ten on each side. He was on the east. I'm on the west. That's an unscientific poll to PROVE 10% of the male population are cross dressers.

Oh PS: When my wife and I figured out my love for nylon nightgowns and slips was more than frisky sex, she asked me why I never told her the extent of my feelings. I asked her if she remember how she and her cousin filleted the poor guy who lived down the block. Their conversation was yuck! Poor woman! Yuck! How can she live with a guy like that! Yuck! Of course she did not remember at all and did not even remember the couple..or so she says. I told my wife their conversation is still etched into my mind. With her attitude at the time why would I reveal myself???

I did once come across an acquaintance dressed.

It was quite a shock to see her on a chat show.

I have yet to find out if she was CD or TS but I suspect it would be TS given when this happened

My male role model came out that he was a dresser, but unfortunately didn't put a lot of effort in.
but kudos would have confidence to go out and totter in heels etc.

However after a series of events purged and doesn't want to discuss or talk about it any more

Well, if I limit it to those I knew before I saw them crossdressed, then none. But a close relative to the situation was interesting. I used to go to this group that was hosted by a couple who were local sexologists. Sometimes, a person who had been one of their last appointments would get talked into sticking around. Right about a year ago, I was at the meeting and one of the couple comes in with someone presenting as male. He introduced himself by his first name and proceeded to sit with his head hanging the whole time. I was certain I knew him, but wasn't entirely sure where. When I went to work the next time, I put his first name in the company directory, which also has pictures, and started scrolling through the results. Sure enough, he was there and I must have worked with him at some point to remember him so easily. He is no longer with the company and we never made a connection.

    Only on Halloween

If they put little to no effort into the costume, then its probably safe to say they're not a legit CD.

Although years ago I did have a co-worker who shared an apartment with another co-worker and it was discovered that he had women's clothing stashed underneath his regular clothes. When confronted by his roommate, he denied the clothes were his and that they belonged to female friend/ex-girlfriend. No one has ever seen him crossdressed, so everyone took his word for it. Who knows really.

    Honestly,

If I saw a half decent CD job as a Halloween costume, I would assume right there they were a CD trying to pull that off. In all my days I have never seen a guy try to dress as a woman in a refined fashion for this holiday. Usually they have size FFF balloons, cartoonish makeup and some other thrown together costume. Maybe I hang around with a different crowd, but for me, it would not take too much for me or anyone else to notice if your costume was a bit too refined to be "just a costume" for Halloween...

I agree with Vanny on the Halloween excuse. Over the years I've seen/known many men who have dressed as a woman for the night and they've all been parodies. Also they couldn't wait to get out of the clothing. Sure, you could have a "Hollywood makeup artist friend" or a sister in law that is "really into it" but I'm not sure how many people would really buy into that if you went the whole nine yards and presented even half way passable. That being said, I've never seen anyone I know crossdressed although I do see crossdressers infrequently but regularly.

(Stephanie47, that's proof enough for me of the 10% statistic. lol!)
