I've been thinking about getting some leggings or yoga pants and a cute hoodie or shirt to go running in. I'd wear my wig but probly wouldn't need makeup or very little since there's not a lot of people in my area. Any thoughts?

That sounds cute! Can you get cute running shoes, too?

The beauty is that I wear fila skeletoes when I run. They're toe shoes. In blue but they could easily go either way.
working out dressed is fun...but any GOOD workout requires alot of sweat ...i wouldnt recommend a wig OR makeup....just sweat...but if it makes you happy go for it...just maybe get a wig you plan on sweating in. Dressing and working out is very inspiring .
I workout at home at least 3 times a week and always wear a sports bra and either short shorts or spandex volley shorts, I also have yoga pants. It is very inspiring for me to workout in such attire.
I've have walked in a local park several times in outfits too but never in makeup. I do wear a ballcap so that's how I can go without. I say go for it for sure
They take some getting use to because they use different muscles than regular sneakers but I love them.
And thanks. I will definitely use a wig that I don't mind sweating in.aybe I'll get a nice wig so I can use the current for working out. I think it'll be. Great way to work on going out dressed.
Do it, why not?
I'm going to go to a yoga class next week and I can tell you right now that I will not be wearing male yoga attire!
I always work out dressed. It's also a comfort thing too. Yoga pants are really comfy to workout in and a sports bra is a necessity for me if I'm running or doing aerobics . Just look at men's workout attire vs women's. What looks like it would be more comfortable to wear? I skip the makeup and pull my hair back into a ponytail and start sweating.
During warmer seasons, I ride my bike 7 miles every morning-always wearing a sports bra, running capris, and bright neon ankle socks. In the winter it's the treadmill in a running skirt and bright pink sneakers. It makes a boring workout much more fun, and something to look forward to.
Life's too short to not be enjoyed! Live each day to the fullest!
My workouts tend to be quite intense and as such working out en femme is not an option as I would be sweating too much to maintain anything like a wig or make-up. In the end I would just be a guy at the gym wearing women's workout clothes and as this is not my thing I prefer to workout "en boy".

For a light workout what you envisage is quite alright.
Others have commented on other aspects of working out so I say give it a try without too much severity.
Work on your elegance,
and beauty will follow.
I have always thought about wearing nude pantyhose under short running shorts to go for a run. What a great idea running in leggings since they do look very similar to running tights such as under armour or nike. I work in a casino in Atlantic City and love the idea of running at night like that after work.
Working out while dressed is fun, but I find it difficult to keep my wig on while doing the stretching, bending and sit ups routines. In the end, I had to leave it out as it was also too hot!

Maybe at home, but not at the gym. Underdressing might be an option, but I won't shower there, tho.
At home, but no wig.
I've worn women's tank tops to the gym, and I've worn pantyhose under shorts when I was out walking or running.

I've just bought my femme workout kit, but for home use only. Couple of skorts and jog bottoms , t-shirts (in Pink of course) and a Box top.
As others have said, don't wear a wig or makeup, too sweaty by far. My girl kit is my inspiration to achieve my desired weight, so I'll settle for baldy me if it means I look lean and mean later.
My only problem is the skorts have no damn pockets, must be why the girls put their tennis balls up the leg? . I use a Samsung S4 for my music and I can't just hold the damn thing when bouncing around. Need a waist bag or something for it.

Note that there are arm bands made for this, however.

I've gone running many times at night, no one seems to notice particularly. I don't make eye contact and just keep moving.
I've gotten to play tennis a few times with friends as I love tennis wear but long hair and boobs are not an advantage and I perspire too much.
Stockings or panty hose are not a good idea. They would cause blisters.

You should totally do it! Maybe wear one of those athletic headbands so your wig won't fall off if its windy or you get too sweaty. If you do wear make up, just a little eye liner. Don't want mascara melting down your face. Even the water proof ones seem to still do that to me. Hope this helps. Have a good run!

I LOVE dressing for workouts... yoga pants, sports bra, long hair (wig) worn back... and it just feels great, knowing that you're working toward the body you're hoping to create....
Exercise is a time that was made for Spandex. I love to dress in tights, leotard, tennis skirt, thick socks and running shoes to go for a jog on a secluded trail or an empty sidewalk area. I generally go early in the morning or late in the evening. I've passed people before but if you think about it, when you pass someone on a winding trail you don't have much time to really notice that much about them. It is rare that I pass someone but it does add to the eroticism. If it cold out, I add a sweater too.
For exercise I walk/jog 5-6 miles almost every day. During spring and summer I'll occasionally wear a kilt, T-shirt and running shoes with short socks. I don't consider this as being dressed, but from some of the looks I get I wonder if others do.
