    Little things ..

Funny how little things affect you. Finally got to properly try on a long top I bought recently. At last I've got a top with sleeves long enough for my rather lengthy arms. I'm so happy!! Pathetic, isn't it.

Christen, I do find some humor in the fact that I tke pride in putting an outfit together when as a guy, I should not. I gave up trying to figure myself out a long time ago.

    Christen,

Being happy about a good thing for you, however small or insignificant it may seem, is never pathetic.

More than that, making yourself happy and sharing that joy is a BIG thing, that many find difficult...

Have a happy, lengthy arm day!

It's these small things and sensations about fashion, make-up, heels.. and actually other small achievements that makes you feel like it's all worth it.

So no, not pathetic at all!

The little thing that affects me the most is the random act of kindness that a complete stranger shows me. I think back just a few days when I was new to this site, and I am so touched by the nice words and supportive messages I've received. My new friendships with my sisters on this site are very important to me.

Where is that big and tall girls shop anyway (6' 6" in heels myself). Nothing pathetic about a great find. Enjoy.

This is no small thing! I've bought a lot of clothes over the years with sleeves that are too short, even though they fit well otherwise. Only fairly recently have I found some stores whose sizing reliably includes sleeves that really fit, and I go out of my way to patronize them.

I use to have that same problem, I love long sleeves but trying to find them that fit was impossible. But a funny thing happened while getting old, I started putting on weight, and for some reason the bigger around you are, the longer they seem to think your arms are. Now I'm wearing a 1X and I can buy long sleeves right off the rack and they fit great.

Yes I'm pretty tall and find that even the tall sizes that fit well are sometimes too short. Maybe I could request 12-14 TTT? don't see it happening though

    Hey Christen,

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being happy over little things. Sometimes it's the little things in life that give us the greatest warmth in our spirit.

I love turtlenecks but unfortunately I'm more Steve Jobs (RIP) than Audrey Hepburn (RIP)

Little things always add up to big things, like your total look, so it's not pathetic at all. Turtle necks and scarfs are good because they hide are Adams apples so we can look like Eves..Hugs Jaymee

I love turtlenecks. Every time I put one on I'm reminded of a picture I once saw of Raquel Welch wearing a white sleeveless turtleneck. She looked fabulous.

Well, a girl can dream can't she?
