Finally got around to asking my wife what she thought of me "new" look..

I posted some side by side here: http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...ut-together!!!. I've had the bob cut exclusively for 3 years so I'm pretty used to it. I think some of the regulars are too. Anyway, I show my wife this picture and here's the conversation:

Wife: I like the outfit, you can wear it anywhere
Me: thanks but that's not the new look
    Wife: It's not?
    Me: No, look again
Wife: What happened to your bangs? I like the bangs.
Me: Arghhh! That's what I was afraid of.

Oh well, can't please everyone but it's nice to know we can talk about it. And it's a bonus she likes the dress and shoes. I'm going with the new wig for awhile.

That is great that you can talk to your wife about your dressing nd look. And she is right the dress is great and I like the hair.

    Hi Jen!
I've hesitated to say this, but I liked your bangs too.

Good to hear there is communication with your wife! You do look good in either hair style, but only you know what makes you feel comfortable and confident. A gal should always try "new" ideas and fashions! Enjoy.

    Sometimes life is like that.

"Hon, do you notice anything different?"

"No. not really. Did you finally wash the floor?"

    "No Hon, look at me."

"Have you gained weight? Your face looks fuller."

"No Hon. I shaved off my mustache that I have had for 12 years!"

At least she didn't ask you if that was a picture of one of your CD.com friends!

As someone who has shoulder length "hair" and side swept bangs ... I love your new look! P.S. I love your cardigan and dress combo too.

Cute conversation. I think you look good in either look, but I kind of prefer no bangs.

    Jennifer,
It's all about image, you will just have to give your wife a bit at a time and she "may" get used to it.

I read the "old" threat and I am going to reply that I like the open front look I just switched to an open front look and I think it makes it look better because though I have a male jawline, it looks like I'm proud of my face and not trying to hide behind my hair. My friend that is a girl said I look much more passable now that I am not trying to hide behind my hair, but I am not using it to compliment my look and it looks much more feminine even though my jawline is rigid.

Mixed feelings here, like the bangs but the longer hair is very cute, and I just love the dress, the whole outfit is very pretty. I say keep the long hair.
