Lexi - I'm confused...I know we're not a chat room here but we can pretty much talk about anything.. and while we may not have the immediacy of a chat room, it's that immediacy that can make chat rooms less safe, more hostile and often nastier places to hang...
And from what limited amount of other CD sites I've seen (about two, total... ) nowhere else covers this subject matter in the same way...
Be interested to see what other members think... Are you worried we might have another outage...? I felt like I had a two-day holiday break...
Unless there's something you think you can't talk about here - but I'd be surprised... there's much more here than I think I'd ever need to talk about...

Im not aware of chat with CD/Trans focus. But like katey said, chat kinda eliminates well thought out ideas. But might i suggest starting your own yahoo or skype channel and inviting some peeps in that you know dress? Never now, could be popular. Id even join in sometimes. Just password protect it and ask for email request to get the password. Or some level of screening to avoid the jerks

When PantiesEtc was still around, they had chat. Nine out of ten conversations would be start with "What are you wearing?" and then turn into a sexual thing. Although I can appreciate the immediacy chat gives, I think the reality is that it would devolve. My wife has not visited this site, but I can just imagine how she'd feel if she saw some of the chat conversations that used to occur on P, Etc., which I did not consider a sexual/pornographic type of site at all.
I can certainly appreciate the desire for such a chat room. If you find one let us know. I fear the ladies are right and any you find probably are going to be dedicated to perving. If you found such a place it would be a great resource.
Katey I mean no disrespect but there are many many topics that are off limits on these forums. I personally take it very hard to find my posts deleted. There are lots of things I don't wind up asking because I'm afraid my words won't survive.

I don't know of any CD Chat rooms but I do participate in The Transgender Boards (www.tgboards.com) more often these days. they have fewer rules against sharing info and seem to delete fewer posts than this forum...assuming this message doesn't get deleted...:-) just kidding

but sometimes when you ask someone a question it
might take 3 days for a response. i'm a night owl and

Problem with chat rooms as a whole is all the spam accounts go to this website view my Web Cam etc. I remember back when I don't have a computer. There were no smart phones with Internet access. I had a Web tv. There was a cd/trans on there that was the best. But yeah mostly anything now isn't worth the trouble unfortunately
The LACK of what you are looking for strongly correlates to the REALITY of the vast majority of CDers on the planet and WHY they outnumber this site by probably 100/1 or higher.
There ARE a ton of things that get deleted but Mods are Humans and entitled to a bad hair day now and then like everyone else.
Go participate at a self moderated website [where the inmates run the asylum] and this site looks like a pretty good place to water.

Im on 5 that i have been with for over 7 years, and are quite good though two were a little pick,e = down putting if you like though in the main i made quite a few friends there,
one is in Austraila two in the UK we had one here in new zealand that has since disbanded and the others i;v not been on them for two years like most there has been a down turn in people coming in to chat so i,v lost contacts with them and some of those i knew i know have passed on ,
like many forums those who did come in dont bother any more,

Some years ago there used to be a Chat Room associated with this site.
Unfortunately due to its nature it was not really compatable with a support site. As a result any links were removed.
Maybe we need to have a chat room through this site. not sure how it works only barely able to turn computer on. But would be great to talk to normal gurls about every day topics without having sexual innuendo
Not finding a modest chat site is what led me to this place. Pretty much all of the crossdressing chat sites are just plain disgusting. As a straight guy, seeing constant pics of other guys junk is a big turn off.

I have several friends that are CDs and we just use Yahoo Messenger to message and chat in. With this you don't have thirty different people trying to chat at you and unless they have your ID they really can't access you.
