I agree that Facebook has way too much tracking of information. I don't think that I would do such a thing for a my fem persona. I have though of using Pinterest under my fem persona but that probably has the same amount of problems as any other social media site.

Since I'm not fully out.. I do have a separate accounts: Facebook, Reddit, YouTube and the other usual accounts.

There is no overlap in contacts, even though most of my guy-mode friends know about Tassia. I'm sure the NSA, MI6, Zuckerberg, etc. could figure out the truth.. but I have been using these accounts for both guy-mode and girl-mode and I haven't experienced any strange things. I'm still careful and mindful, since I do work in a field that also concerns itself with cybersecurity.. so I realise what's out there.

As a sidenote,.. I like social media! I have learned a lot from it, have met wonderful people through it (some of whom I've consequently met in real life). And when I started posting my own stuff,.. the response and the feedback was so awesome that it did wonders for my self-confidence. I am 100% sure that I would definitely not have grown into the Tassia I am today (whatever your opinion is about that ) if there hadn't been social media.

Sure, there is a lot of clutter.. and self-promotion, but I'm okay with that. Like some have indicated here.. you don't have to participate. And if you don't like something, just don't click, watch or read it.

    It's that simple.

I have a pintrest account, but I would NOT post any of my own pictures or things I find there and for anyone who does I would advise you to A) read the terms of agreement very carefully, B) Google it and why most attorneys don't use pintrest. Now beyond that, I think I might make a secret tumblr/instagram (need to read TOS on Instagram first) and then go through all the settings, but... I generally stay as anonymous as possible on my social media anyhow...

I am a marketing / PR professional for a living, social media is one of the many things I deal with. My personal Facebook for instance, while it has my name, has no other identifiable information about me except for the city and state I live in and how old I am. Furthermore it's completely private to everyone but friends. Reason being is I just say and post things (violence/crude humor/real world problems) that may offend my work or professional life. However, I don't think even my friends can see my likes or groups as I have them hidden. Either way, everyone who knows me knows I am an avid LGBT supporter, so if I posted CD stuff, they probably wouldn't blink an eye (I know, I know, it's just the stereotype).

As a very closeted person, I stay away from all those social sites and apps. There would be a lot at stake should I be outed, and I even keep separate cellphones. I do have my femme email address, and now I'm here, which is very cool!

I have separate facebook accounts. Although, after seeing the direction this thread has started off in maybe I need to reconsider that?

I do NO SOCIAL MEDIA of any kind!

Part is I'm old fashioned and part I'm not interested. I see tooooo many people spending tooooo much time doing nothing but stay on Facebook or some other site to the exclusion of everything else in the world.

Lastly, I am still closeted and don't want anyone getting any ideas about my feminine side. I have one separate e-mail account for Linda and that is all.

I do have a face book account for the guy side of me, Raychel had an account but they started getting inter-mingled.
so she no longer has one.

best to keep her out of that world, Dad is there and he may not know about this side of me.

I have a separate Facebook account only because Daisy has a bigger online presence than in "real life". I do post Daisy related stuff under my male account, but I post nothing Travis only related as Daisy to protect those would would want to friend me but are afraid of being tracked through my friends and what not.
