    full time at home

Finally made the decision to go dressed full time at home with my wife.
And so far my wife is being supportive.

    This is day two.
    Little stressed out.

Hey jules, I to have recently been close to ft at home with my girlfriend and it has been awesome I am usually sporting yoga pants, a cami, painted toes and forms. Only problem is I find my two worlds blending togeather more than ever and I often don't want to return to my male role. Have you found this to be happening?

Congratulations! I'd love to go full time at home but it's so much work and I'm lazy.

Close on to 8 yrs. now, but I was very lucky; my SO & I had been together for 35 years by then and had much love, acceptance, trust and respect for each other and it only grew the longer we were together. It also didn't hurt that she grew up in a country that clothing differences between sexes were much less significant than it is in the west (frankly, I don't know about that connotation; it's west of here! European perspective, I guess).
One thing I would caution about if you have an SO; take it in small bites at first, something I didn't do initially. I realized later that I had been unfair, as my joy in her acceptance was so great I couldn't contain it. She handled it incredibly well, however; as I said, she trusted me.

ALWAYS plan for the worst, then you can be pleasantly surprised if something else happens!

    This is for Teresa.
The final push for me was I had enough of trying to hide and bury who I was.
I am not going to sugar coat this I'm going to be honest.
I was I could not see myself getting old continuing on the path I was on.
The waves of sadness that would come over me were brutal.
I even started to think about ending it all.
So I did not have a choice really.
There is a lot more but let's leave it at that.

I have a little bit of a problem but it's controllable
It has to be and I'm taking things slow and trying not to overwhelm her and myself.
And being a tomboy helps a lot.

    Thank you everyone else.
    I hope I don't crash and burn.

    Hugs

Hi all. I fully dress at home and underdress at work or when out in boy mode. I love to dress up for my wife and she helps me pick out my clothes when we go shopping. She has me try on most of the clothes we buy in the store to make sure they look and fit well on me.

Dressing full time? I'm sure that would just ruin it for me.

I don't understand why you are dressing if it stresses you out. Is there a reason you can't take a break when you want to?

My problem with dressing full time at home is, there are things I don't feel like doing dressed because I don't want to damage my girlie clothes. Also, sometimes people knock on the door and want to talk to "Homer" when only "Krisi" is available. The excuse that he is in the shower only works the first few times.

Congratulations. I'm also out at home and have permission from my wife to dress whenever I like. It's hugely liberating.

I also can at home at any time with the SO 'blanket permission' to do so at home.
Too bad I have a house full of kids that come and go at will at all hours.
Ahh, school starting this week. Summer was a bit rougher than normal this year for a few reasons.

    Jules,
If you take it steady and don't push the envelope too far too quickly then I'm sure things will become calmer. Just be aware that it may become so normal that when the door bell goes you answer it without thinking and surprise the postman!

Congrats Jules!!! I'm really happy for you, and that your wife is so understanding and accepting. I really love hearing stories like this.

I'm surprised you describe yourself as stressed. I spent the last three weeks 24/7, and it was just great. Very mellow and stress-free. I'm back in male mode for a while now, and the stress is starting to build again.

I hope that this decision works for you, and I hope you find your best path in life, whatever that might be.
