Please help! Input is needed on a CD subject regarding a lump.

Please admins do not move this as I am not trolling, I am a bit afraid and I need the most input possible.

I usually shave downstairs. I haven't since early last week though and today I found a lump underneath "my boys". (sorry don't want to come right out and say them and get in trouble. So got me worried and don't know if it is something major or just say a ingrown hair/infection from shaving. Never had this happen before. It is quite painful to touch. Its right now at least bigger then a dollar coin ans smaller then a half dollar. I run on my Nordictrack daily for hours and wonder if that played a part maybe in some kind of hair follicle issue. I bathe at least once a day or more.

I also have some form of 24hr flu bug going on. Chills, sore throat, tired but can't sleep etc...

PLEASE do not move this I really need all the input I can get.

And I'm not sexually active with anyone. Been a LONG time so we can rule that one out.

Well I guess the obvious advice is to go see a doctor and get it checked out.

That really sounds like a boil. Does it have a red tip sort of like a pimple?

No tip at all. It currently is red all over that area just on "them". Its also got to be like say 1/4 in or more thick. Doesn't move either.

I agree with Yoshisuar. You're asking the wrong group for medical advice.
Go to your doctor and get it checked out.

It may be an infected ingrown hair. Even if that is all that it is, it should be looked at by a professional. Don't worry about showing them, they have seen it all. I've been seen in various states of shaved or not and they have never been unprofessional. Seriously, don't mess with it and go it looked at.

I had a similar, but even larger, growth -- my doctor called it an abscess -- on the left side of my scrotum about 2-1/2 years ago. It was probably the most painful thing I've ever experienced, even when compared to my heart attack and subsequent surgery. Ten minutes in the procedure room, a little poke from a scalpel, and the pain was gone for good. A five day course of antibiotics to follow up left me as good as ever. See a doctor about this ASAP -- you'll save yourself a lot of pain and worry.

The doc said mine probably started as an infected hair, and that they occur often, on almost any area of the body, with little correlation to your level of hygiene. In other words, it can happen to anybody and you shouldn't blame yourself or anything you're doing for causing it.

It could be any number of things, and none of them are going to be diagnosed via an internet forum for crossdressers. Go see a doctor.

It's an abcess, an infection. You'll need antibiotics. Any e.r. doc can get you started, but seeing where it's located your best bet is a urologist. If you have insurance, go through the yellow pages until you find one that can see you tomorrow, tell the receptionist what's wrong, most docs will squeeze you in when they know the severity of the problem. Don't feel embarrassed about this; your life depends on it. If you can't find anyone to take you, call the local hospitals that have clinics, find out what day the urology clinic is, and what time the clinic opens. Then go to the e.r. about two hours earlier, because you know that the specialists will be in the building while you're there, and ask the e.r. doc to call them. Different hospitals have different specilist clinics on different days, so choose the one that you can see soonest. Like I said, any e.r. doc can get you started on antibiotics.
Once you start on antibiotics, you should start to see improvement in about 3 days. Take your temperature daily, and whenever you have a fever. After 3 days, the fever should start to come down. If it's going up, and you feel worse, you may need a different antibiotic.
PM me for more information if you wish.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

For god's sake, Alex - distance diagnosis is a fools game. The OP needs to see a Doc to get a proper diagnosis and treatment

As others have said don't hang about get to your doctor and get it checked !
Internal lumps can give you a scare ! again the doc has seen it all before ! Luckily mine tuned out to be a fatty lump but I went straight away to get it checked !!

Reading your OP again I've just remembered some years ago I heard a lady talking about an alergy to synthetic materials which brought her out in a painful rash ! I recently had to stop using a certain brand of deodrant because it produced tender spots ! If it's happened fairly quickly you could have a similar problem.
