    Went out

I went to and got a reading this morning en-fem. What a great feeling - driving around as I feel the most comfortable. I got there just as she opened up and got my reading - she was pretty good - there is lot she got right with out giving her information. It was a great feeling - so natural like it should be. The reader confirmed that I should be Valerie full time, but to take it slowly. My wife needs time to be more accepting. I need to cultivate Valerie by doing more feminine type activities. Cooking - sewing by her some jewelry etc. So if there are any suggestions to bring her out [Slowly] let me know. Thanks for reading girls. As always you are the best.

    Love & hugs

Sounds like you went to a psychic. You arrived en femme which gave this person quite a bit of info already. I'm thinking a gender therapist would be the next step to get bona fide advice. Do you feel that you're TS or just like the idea of dressing full time?

Valerie, the last person to listen to is a psychic. They tell you what you want to hear to take your money.

If you are really gender confused, take your money and see a gender therapist. I can guarantee that the therapist will not advise you to start cooking or buy jewelry.

    Hi Valerie,

While psychic readings can be fun, I normally find when they are responding to a question you have asked, they tend to provide you information in just enough dosage to lead you the response/epiphany you already knew. In your case, I will go out on a limb and say you have already decided in your heart of hearts that you want to be Valerie full time? Please correct me if I am wrong. The reading may have just been a catalyst for something already on your mind. Having said that, I agree with Ressie in that if you truly feel you need to be Valerie full time and you have not already talked to a gender identity therapist . . . now would be a good time . . . at least before you make any decisions to move in that direction. If you truly are TS (want to be a woman) a therapist is the best way to explore this both by yourself and with your wife.

As others have addressed the reading, therapists, etc. I will skip that part.

With our history of looking at the world, and functioning in the world, as males usually we do not know a lot about how the world looks from a feminine perspective. It's easier to deal with the physical aspects (clothes, underclothes, makeup, wigs, etc.); basically the veneer. The psychological/emotional part is very different. Put another way, it's like hardware and software. We can see hardware, but software we cannot but it has considerable bearing on how the process goes. By the time women are well into adulthood, they have had a few decades of learning, responding and coping with the world from a feminine perspective. For us, that scales to 0 to 60 in a heartbeat.

Anyway, I think however we come by some of that knowledge is useful. It acts to make a more complete picture.

I feel totally at ease while driving around in femme, it's quite nice. It's leaving the car that gets a little nerve racking!

I have been involved in psychic activities for some time and know that it can be quite helpful at times. The complexity and the fact that there are less qualified practitioners out there means that you have to be very careful who you seek advice from.

While I agree with the others that pairing such advice with a wel-qualified gender therapist would probably be the best route, it never hurts to engage in traditionally feminine activiries along the way.

I guess I have to clarify - the meant the main post is that I went out ans sat and spoke to someone dressed as Valerie rather than the Tarot reading. Feeling the way I have for as long as I have I know the only true way is to seek out a gender specialist and really dive into it. I actually felt comfortable enough to go out. Was the point that I wanted to make. Tarot readings are what they are.
Thank you everyone for the responses.

    Love & hugs
    Valerie.
