Do you use any of your CD stuff at work

Do you use any of your girly stuff at work? Funny question funnier story. Today at work. OK I’m a service tech. /construction type worker. Two of my coworkers and I are on a job site, talking, my tool bag is laid out. Guy 1 asks Guy2 how he likes his new tool bag. Guy 2 says its ok but he needs something to keep his sockets and magnetic drivers organized like mine (jean). Guy 1 says Oh my wife has lots of those they are makeup bags. Of course I had to chime in and add that they are cheap and work perfect of holding small tools. They are clear and have a zip closure. What I didn’t say is I have more that I use to keep my makeup organized at home also. Jean

No, but I could. I get these little plastic boxes at Sears that are used to keep various screws and bolts separate.

I use them to hold my rings and earrings.
Hi, I'm Steffi and I'm a crossdresser... And I accept and celebrate both sides of me. Or, maybe I'm gender fluid.

If we are talking about practical use for work. Now that it is cold I wear womens thermal underwear. They are so much thinner and softer than normal long johns. Since I do a lot of going in and out all day, it works better than the bulky stuff. I have even told male friends about them and showed them.....of course only the plain white ones without any type of decorative stuff on them

Clear makeup bags for tools? That's a good idea. I use plastic food bags and they don't last long.

This is not a thread about underdressing at work or what you wear. It asks what "Girly stuff" you may use at work. Things you know like physical things that could be considered something a woman would have at her work place.

I have a Louis Vuitton shoulder bag that I take with me everywhere I go, both in Drab and Fab, so it is with me at work. No one says boo about it. Now, I have to wash the lipstick off of my coffee mug and get a refill.

I have three Coach leather shoulder bags (black, brown, and English Tan) I carry them daily, and have been ever since my college days.
Also, I use Princess Livia lip soother, or Mary Kay Signature Lip Crème (in Dusty Rose, which matches my natural lip color almost perfectly) when I have to work outdoors.

I use emery boards to point my pencils, either for lettering or for marking up drawings. (I am a licensed professional engineer.)

When doing clock repair, I use orange wood sticks (cuticle sticks) for cleaning out clock and watch pivot holes.

Occasionally, I have to seal a drawing away from the office. I use a makeup brush to brush away the pounce after I seal a mylar, because it is smaller to carry around than a standard drafting brush.

Not really, but I work with my family. Not too long ago my brother brought some nailpolish to mark things with, when he used it he said it was too thin and watery, I looked at the bottle and thought, well yea, that's cheap nail polish. Didn't say anything to him about it though.

In my field lots of tools have multiple purposes, but I wouldn't classify it as CD stuff. I use my measuring tape I use to measure myself, and I also use it to measure artifact provenience, but its really a necessary tool. I also use colored nail polishes to mark collection bags for what collection or site. Its better than only using site and collection numbers alone (though always use both!). Oddly these are both common practice things, soooo I'd probably use them whether I dressed or not.

An assortment of diamond nail files. Fine files, well it's just too easy to get them from the local beauty supply store than trying to find a tool store that carries fine detail tools.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

And, if you buy them from tool supply houses, be it clock, watch, model making, or machinist's supply houses, they are like to cost twice as much. I am a big fan of Harbor Freight, and drillbitcity, though.
