    "Social Guide to the Trangender" ...... Really ?!?!?!?

    Yesterday, on my Facebook feed, this gem popped up on my feed from a local news service. A "Social Guide for Trangenders" that included such amazing insights.

    . introduce yourself with your preferred gender
    . ask which bathroom you can use
    . don't approach someone first, wait to be approached.

    These gems and the title alone make me want to gag.

    Yet another 'news' article written by someone who is not trans, knows nobody that is trans, know nothing about trans issues. My FB gets these all the time. Sometimes from actual newspaper articles, where clearly, some editor has said to some Jr. columnist 'Write something about this trans thing'.
