    Lisa,

To be honest, unless someone her is an endocrinologist and willing to dispense medical advice offline (highly unlikely), you need to have a discussion with your doctor to address these questions and voice any concerns. We would only be throwing out opinions and as hormone imbalance in your body can be quite damaging . . . best to seek medical advice IMHO.

    Hugs

Yes, definitely you should talk to an endo about this. Agree (as usual) with Isha's wisdom ... anything we would say would be literally hearsay. There is so much stuff on the tube about T-supplements (IMHO, too much of it) and not enough worry about side effects.

You should be asking your doctor about this, not strangers on the Internet.

Perhaps a different form of testosterone or a reduced dose would help.

I was prescribed Androgel and one of the possible side effects is breast growth. Not for me though.

Most of us crossdressers don't experience that growth. Again, this is a question for your doctor. You don't need to wait six weeks, especially with the issues you are experiencing. Go ASAP.

And bring pictures, pictures, pictures. A picture is worth a thousand words. If you're set on changing your body, keep a picture journal along the way to document what changes occur and when, as well as what medications you're taking. It will help your doctors a lot as well.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
