    CD bowling league

Food for thought. I had taken my family to a Halloween bowling party held by my local bowling center. Has there ever been a CD/TG bowling league. Personally I think it would be fun seeing a bunch of us showing up with male bowling equipment and dressed in fem.👠

I don't think anything like that will happen were I live but if it did I would be first in line to sign up.

That does sound like fun, an excuse for a regular weekly outing.

You can barely get a few of us together for cocktails... so, bowling...?

And am I the only one here to be under the impression that 'bowling shoes', in and of themselves, represented a fashion 'faux pas' of galactic proportions...?

To each their own, I suppose...

I think it's a great idea and would love to join.

I am confused about the term "....male bowling equipment..." I didn't know there was a difference between male and female unless we're talking color of shoes and bowling balls?

Our little group in Memphis was just talking about this very thing. Something to do besides hit the clubs. Excersise and social time doing stuff together and the like of more than a sexy night on the town. I think it would be great. Yay!!

That would give a whole new meaning to the term "A League Of Their Own", that '90's movie about a women's baseball team starring Tom Hanks, Madonna, Rosie O'Donnell, and Geena Davis...

Count me in. Any excuse to dress up and get out of the house is great.
One Question, I didn't know that there is gender specific bowling equipment.
Is there more than just shoes and balls?
    Live and let dress.

Well to the question of equipment? Yes there are women and men's specific equip. If a woman is into the sport may lean toward the cute bowling shoes that have pink accents and maybe a ball that is pretty, that's now my wife picked her equip. Out. As for the fashion statement of rental bowling shoes they clash with everything even a clown suit.🎪

I agree with Katey, I would love to go bowling with some of you local ladies here in Houston, but my schedule with work and all leaves me with so much uncertainty I can only guess at when I will be available.

But I would love to go bowling in my shorts or skirts with nylons, a nice pretty blouse and makeup.

Anyhow if anyone is successful in making all this happen please share you story.

In the interim if any of you local gals follow suit like the Michigan gals please let Lauri know ~

Meanwhile I am sweating my adventures in my witches outfit next weekend ~~

The Erie Gala has a bowling outing scheduled for this Wednesday for attendees. I'm hoping to be there.

I personally would love it! However, would it not be even better to have a CD golf league? Then we could play from the ladies tees!

I'd come cheer you on, but there's not a chance I could participate. Long nails and high heels are completely incompatible with bowling.

Cmon' - Pink bowling shoes and a matching pink bowling ball - how cool would that be? I'm too ladylike () to wear a skirt bowling though - leggings I guess it is. Count me in!

I giggle every time someone has said "balls" on this thread. hee hee hee

I would love to do this. It would give me a real reason to dress up and get out.
Plus I'd get to meet all you great ladies!!! Oh, lord who am I kidding... I haven't even made the first time out, obligatory go-get-gas-at-night venture. I don't have the balls to do it either... bowling balls that is. (see what I did there?)
I am not a woman nor am I a man... I am an enby. Hi, I am Wren.

Our group in Atlanta goes bowling at least once a year. It's good exercise and a lot of fun.
This is me at the alley in July of this year:
