I used to be able to double cross right over left. Used to love to do the double cross. Put it down to an age thing. But, I now just do right over left, as I find that it is the most comfortable.

I can't cross at the knee, so it is legs together and crossed at the ankles.
I cross my legs all the time, both at the knee and at the ankle. It's been in me since I was a little boy. I say boy because I've been doing this even before I crossdressed.
Right over left has always been more comfortable for me, although I can do both. As others have said, doing it in stockings is pure heaven! When I am working at home and dressed, I will almost always cross my legs this way under the desk.
It depends on which way I sit down and how long my skirt/dress is.
I most generally just cross my ankles.
I just realized today that in boy mode, I usually cross left over right, and in girl mode, it's right over left, at the knee, occasionally with a double cross at the ankle.

I'm sure this is a cultural thing... and it was begging for a pic or two... :
I cross my legs boy or girl mode in a very similar way and this is common practice in Europe... don't you think this is simply more elegant for a man? Or has elegance been totally eclipsed by machismo and squatting like a gorilla...? (probably...) So, normally left over right...

But I will change legs if sitting for a while to keep comfortable - and only ever in girl mode would I 'entwine' or pretzel...

You have to be naturally flexible to get the toe around your ankle...

Right over left most of the time.
I do either, and I usually switch back and forth if I'm sitting for a long time. Maybe that's because I'm bisexual, and bipedal
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] My GG GF Julie and I send you all hugs I'm on the right in my avatar, Julie is on the left.
Like I said before, it depends on how I sit down.
If I were skinnier, It would be a lot easier.
I have tucked for so many years that I have no issue with any of that,
I'm just such a big girl they don't cross that easily.
Krysten
Mostly right over left. Sometimes I'll do left over right, but my foot sticks out farther that way.
Typically left over right. However, I can switch but its just not as comfortable

A Note On Etiquette:
As some may know, I've had various makeover sessions with Phoebe Cross. Early on one of the things that she told me was that when you cross your legs, your feet should be pointed in the same direction. I find that I don't naturally do that, so I need to remind myself.

Right over left most of the time, just more natural to me, but can do both.
I am trying to get to the point I can cross and tuck the crossed foot behind the un-crossed leg.
Does that even make sense? It's v feminine if you can pull it off...

oops, I see 'entwining' is already covered...soz
For me its right over left it's more natural for me.
Left over right.
I agree with Katey about this being a cultural thing. Certainly, where I come from there's no 'significance' to a man sitting cross-legged.
Me.. Mostly left over right, crossed at the knee - in both modes. But depending on my mood, time of day, phase of the moon, whatever could be right over left and /or crossed at the ankles!
Usually right over left, in part due to arthritis in right hip. The same in girl mode and boy mode; not self-conscious about looking girly.
I wonder if it's related to right-handedness. How many right-over-lefties are RH and vice-versa?
Right over left, but hardly ever cross them. Crossing my legs hurts. Maybe I'm doing in wrong.
Hi Gina...I'm new to the forum. Where does it hurt because when crossing your legs lady-like, it shouldn't hurt if properly tucked. Also, it helps to angle your legs a little bit to the side and then cross them. If you look at some pics of cis-girls with their legs crossed I think you'll see what I'm trying to explain...hope it helps! Nikki

Hi Acastina (that's a neat name), I'm primarily left-handed but a little bit ambidextrous. I prefer right over left. Nikki
I am a left to right
