    Finally left the house after 4 months

    It's been a while and I used every excuse in the book not to go out the past 4 months. I pushed myself out the door to a T-Girl event in New Hope, Pa. I'm glad I did because I had an awesome time parting with the girls. About 50 girls attended the 2 day event which was essentially one big party. Started with a meet and greet on Friday evening with a trans talent show and lots of alcohol consumption. Saturday was going down town with the girls and red carpet photo shoot in the afternoon followed by a dance party at a local club. It was worth every penny of travel and hotel cost. I met so many new girls, gosh I'm still smiling. picture below are of me with a few New Hope sisters: Antoinette, Jill and Charlene. Highly recommended.

    happy to see you made it back out, wish i was there, going to miss Harrisburg too, hate not having the finances
    look me up with the JSTSURF, would like to get some meet and great going, looking at asbury and have a meeting tomorrow,

    I don't have any fears about going out, I think is more about laziness and cold weather. Yes there was some fear about going to a new town alone and not knowing anybody but that I got that over with real quick.

    Glad you had a great time! It is a lazy, cold time of the year and it takes more effort to go out. Just remember how much fun you had at this gathering if you need help getting over that hump again.

    Glad you had fun. Do you ever just go out and run errands, etc. as Kate? Just casual clothing and shoes?

    Yes I do but more so in past years and generally stay in safe areas. I don't care what people think of me and I'm not in the closet but fear bigots when alone.

    No going back now, it is great to get out and find friends and share our dressing , so pleased for you you look a great bunch of people !
    I wish mine were 2 day events but I'm grateful for a great evening once a month.
