My first time out fully dressed in public

Well, I finally did it. I decided to risk going out in public. Bra, small forms, panties, girl jeans, scoop top t-shirt, sandals, hair brushed in a femme style, silver chain, earrings. Went to the mall early for a walk, then shopped and bought new jeans (I have been losing some weight!), new top, and some more fashion jewelry. Even though I know I do not pass, I had a wonderful time and will do this again!

Marlene, we are on the same page with this one, read my post of yesterday titled, "Want To Be Me, Yesterday". Would have been really cool if we had run into each other while shopping and spent a little time together, maybe the women's department shopping then lunch. I'm sure it would have led to another get together.

    Hi Marlene,

On a scale of 1 - 10, ...an 11 maybe? I know the feeling of going out shopping for the first time, did it myself just last weekend. I like the point you made about small forms. The closer we look to the average girl, the easier the ride in muggle land. I don't pass for one minute and I saw people take a quick look up and down, but that was it.

Happy future shopping trips and in all else that you do.

    Hi Marlene

Glad you were able to go out in public. Take your time and each time you go out you will gain a bit more confidence. Be patient.

I have been going out in public dressed as a woman since 2004. It the beginning I was really nervous. However I had joined a support group in Atlanta. Over time I started going out more often after I started learning and doing my own makeup, These days I get out a few times a week. Today I had lunch at the Downwind Restaurant. On the way home I stopped at Dairy Queen for ice cream. Should have had a picture taken. I know I don't pass as a woman. What I from people if for them to accept for for who I am and not judge. I have never had any problems while out dressed. I go just about everywhere in and around the Atlanta area.

As a CD admirer, I love taking a girl out to nice places. As in classy restaurant. I am so old; that is prolly why nobody messes with me or my date. It doesnt hurt that I am retired MP First Sergeant, lol. If any jerk got smart with us; he would be in for a rough patch of it. Nothing like going to a war to teach a soldier what freedom is.

    Hi Marlene,
I've had three days out now in a skirt or dress outfit I like- the first one shown here on my way to a play downtown SF. I have also gone shopping for electronics and hardware, and to the botanic garden, where a woman saw me trying to set up my camera for a selfie and offered to photograph me, and her pleasure in framing the shot against some wild hanging roots was really nice- I felt so good and smiled a lot more naturally than I can staring at my own camera!

I had several more days although still in pants freely shopping for clothes. taking clothing to the fitting rooms and friendly interactions with the shop assistants. This is as fun as going out dressed and is very cheap retail therapy at the clothing discount places. Sometimes I am directed to the men's fitting rooms,if they are separated, but I don't mind- I am a man and proud of it.

We are helping people understand the range of being a man! I think this is true through the range of what we do to emulate what is culturally assigned as women's look and style.

    fear to free

I don't remember much about my first time out fully dressed other than it was at 7-11. Everything went alright but I had hide my car and almost ran to it. I had on my wifes clothes and rolled up socks in the bra. I had no wig and it was obvious I was a guy.
Many years latter last friday I finished my maintenance check at a store. I had a forty five minute drive to the next store. I already had on my bra panties and stockings and decided to take my jeans and tee shirt off in favor of a denium skirt sleeveless shirt and heels.
Driving along I needed gas and found a station. Using the Co credit card I filled the van. Several people saw me but nothing unusual until I asked for a receipt. The pump said I needed to go inside to get it.
I didn't hesitate but walked to the door and went inside. There was a line of 4 guys and a girl and 2 female cashiers. I got in line and waited. No one paid much attention as I had on a grey curly wig. I got to the cashier and we made eye contact. She smiled warmly and I made my request. She gave me my receipt smiled again and wished me a good day.
I headed for the door and a guy held it open for me and I walked slowly to the van. What a change from the first time at 7-11.
