    Are you an Ambassador?

This is just a shout out to us 'tweens' who are out there and interacting with the world as the genuinely wonderful human beings we are!

I'm 'gender non conforming', I look the part, and I'm a genuinely nice person and think I show it! (some posts not withstanding 😉 )

Just a rant, but it's true, we ALL represent US, I personally try to represent US in a positive light!

At least until you mess with me, cuz ya know I'll fight ya 😠

Yesterday, while viewing a flight deck at an expo - well you saw the photo on my post yesterday, a couple with a San Fran accent behind me were in a hurry to catch a tourist bus arriving soon, I let them in front, then explained the aircraft controls to the interested hubby. I hope they have a lovely holiday down here.

    Robin,
I'd like to think so, trying to just go out there with some confidence and not put an act on, I don't think anyone expects us to be perfect and passable . I just say it's part of me and smile most people are OK with that.

It's the same old story of trying to get past the media impression of us, some people have strange ideas of the TG community .

I usually try to be positive and do positive things en femme but I wouldn't profess to represent all CDers, just myself.

Normally I'm out and about 'tweened at least -- who knows if that counts as ambassadoring? -- but yesterday was laundry day and so I went to the grocery store in gross male jeans & t-shirt. While there I saw a well-turned out 'tweener walking around with a blue & white shoulder bag, nice-fitting clothes and a general healthy, happy presentation. I felt so ashamed.

I previously wrote a blog entry about just this subject. I have become an ambassatrix for the LGBTQ community not by my choice but by the choice of the people I meet. They are mostly curious, polite, and hungering for information. They ask me about their friend, nephew, neighbor, co worker, etc.
It's on my blog. It isn't much but it is mine.

I like to think I am because I will talk to just about anyone.
I'm an "I never met a stranger" type person.
Chat me up about TG subjects and I will chatter all day LOL
