    The Shadows know!

Most of us love mirrors, I believe. Reflections of our girly sides may bring smiles to many, as they do to me. But recently I've started to really notice my girly shadows as they appear on a wall or on the ground, and they, too, please me, especially since they don't show my faults when in femme. If you've ever really looked at your girly shadow, what did you see that pleased you?

I stay away from mirrors or at least close up to mirrors. The only mirror I don't mind is the full length mirror I view myself in from afar. Up close? Forget it!

Hey that's a great idea, I think I'll try taking some photos of my shadow.
"This is ME" I am not CRAZY, I'm just a GUY who likes dresses!
Since allot of men dress up in woman's clothing that makes it a manly thing to do!
    Much more fun than fishing.
I do construction like house building and I love CD-ing, what's the difference?

I see my shadow a lot when bicycling. More male than female, but not egregiously so. Then again, thinking about it, my wife's shadow when cycling is not terrible feminine, either. I guess this needs more investigation, but also illustrates the sublime-ness of the difference as well.

I remember reading how one decides gender very quickly upon seeing someone, and the first impression of gender tends to linger and overpower other signals, to a degree of course.

Hmm, shadow? What shadow? What do I see? Who do I see? The Shadow knows (for those old enough to remember that reply)! Oh, just look at my avatar and tell me, because I only have a biased opinion.

I'm so vain...I look at myself in window reflections, my shadow, mirrors. It is because I want to make sure things are still as they should be.

Shadows only know about evil hearts. Although, my shadow seems a bit evil. . .

Mirrors, can't live with them can't live without them.

Don't like my naked body at times. But always double check myself out when going out, for a check to make sure how I look.

    Jenny,
Great idea, shadows can't show badly applied makeup, or the lines and creases you've attempted to hide, figures can look slimmer as well, shame it's taken so long for the sun to shine in the UK !!

Being a shoe girl, If I have any type of heel on my feet, I will look down to see the shadow. If nothing else I do smile on the inside.

What I especially like is seeing the long shadow my heels cast in late afternoon sunlight.

I've never thought to look at my shadow but I have admired my reflection in a store window a time or two.

I have done a few "artsy" photos with a strong backlight and so the camera only sees the outline, which is very sexy legs and nice curves. I can see if can find them to share ...
I also get a nice reflection from the glossy hardwood floor that I often use to take pictures. I redo them every few years.

I don't care what my shadow looks like. But, I like to watch myself walking in store windows. It has helped me develop a reasonably fem gait!

Yes, shadows do a wonderful job of showing your feminine shape, while hiding all the imperfections of makeup and such. Before I became more skilled at creating a complete womanly appearance, I got a lot of enjoyment out of seeing the shadow of the female me--the way my skirt or dress would move in the wind, and the way my breasts would reveal themselves in profile.

Not me. I prefer to never see how I look when dressed, I'm quite happy to enjoy the view that my eyes see; pretty clothes, pretty hair, etc.. From my viewpoint, I see 'girl', as long as I'm careful.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

There are times walking upstairs my shadow gets projected in the closet doors at the top of the stairs. That's when I really want to get the hips swaying side to side. I love it.
