Just Now Got Busted By My Neighbour

I took the recycling out the front to put in the bin, I was wearing a Mickey Mouse onesie, Pink Dressing Gown and Pink Secquined slippers, I checked the street for neighbours or anyone else in the street and thought all was clear. I no sooner get to the bin and look up to see my neighbour from across the street looking over to see who is at my bin, I decided to say hi as I was already busted and he came over to ask me to look out for a delivery truck on Thursday as he had to go to the Airport to pick someone up on that day. To my amazement he didn't say a word about how I was dressed, but I knew he would bust me sooner or later

It happens, but life rolls on and nothing really ever comes of it has been my experience.

We worry over a lot things for nothing.

But I have to say that I do not own any Mickey Mouse stuff, just saying it's lacy and satin to the touch for Lauri

Sounds like you handled just fine with confidence and pride, just think the next time you won't even flinch
Way too Girly ! I couldn't smell the smoke, and now I'll watch the flames

At least he didn't ask you about what you were wearing.
It was one of those, "This is exactly what it looks like."
Melissa: "... and why are you dressed as a woman?"
    Coach McGuirk: "Because it's freeing."

The first time I was busted after I moved away from home was when my landlady went to my room and saw my clothes. She kicked me out. Second one made me her daughter. Years ago I got caught a couple times unexpectedly. I didn't know that the curtains showed through, and I was in a new house I was renting dressed and the neighbor walked in without knocking. Both were cool with it. After that I didn't worry much.

    Rhonda,
Even though you checked at some level you must have known that someone was going to see you. It is a good opportunity to see how you feel about being "busted". If you feel good about it is your opportunity to "own" it as others have said in other threads.

You did fine Rhonda from here on out act like this whole thing wasn't a big deal.
Next time you meet you don't owe him any explanation, so don't make up some lie and try to explain it all away because he won't believe it anyway.
You owned it and that is how its done.Kudos !!

Hey I have no intention of making up any stories, if he says nothing I'll say nothing. If he does say anything I'll tell him the truth.

My dad (who never knew I crossdress) once said to me that he saw his neighbor dressed women's clothes and assumed he was a CD. That was all that came of that. He did not go telling other people to my knowledge. He certainly did not go over to the house and tell the man's wife.

We sometimes over dramatize things that happen to us in our minds only. I think we have a tendency as humans to think the worse in every situation. You probably didn't phase your neighbor much, so if I was you I'd take that as a form of acceptance and roll with it.

I've got a pair of Victoria's Secret yoga pants that's about 1.5 inches too short. I relegated them to woodworking pants. a friend pulled up in yard and there was nothing I could do. it was dark but he had to have seen I wasn't wearing normal pants. nothing was said

BTW you really handled it great!!! huggs tommie

Neighbors tend to complain if you make too much noise. Or they might complain if the grass and weeds in your yard are totally out of control. Or maybe they will say something if all the leaves in your yard are blowing into theirs.

There's not much reason for a neighbor to care what you are wearing.

Unless they are a bigotted sod, that is! My elderly neighbour had a screeching fit at me the other day over my nail polish. To be fair, she might have been pissed that I did a very amateur job of applying it....

Yes Andrea there are those who are like that, plenty of people still out there who are that way unfortunately.

First weekend when I moved into current neighborhood two neighbor guys came by in their boat and said they were going fishing. I had on a woman's shoes, shorts, top and bra. I said something about changing and they said your fine. So I went fishing as is for a couple hours. Had a lot of fun. They never said a word.

I figure many people know. I used to walk with several women. Usually wore a bra. Had tops that would sometimes show my bra strap and no one ever said anything except one night when the subject of bras vs sports bras came up. I jokingly was asked which I wore. I said lacy ones. I sometimes wondered if the car's lights showed my bra.

Perhaps you have a good neighbor who will keep things confidentially. I remember the phrase, 'if you wear it, own it!' Looks like you did just that! Good for you!

I once had an across the street neighbor ask me why I let my sister work on my car.

I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

I am not intending this to be mean.... to you or anyone who makes a thread about "getting busted" We who go out bust ourselves. We may not actually intend to be caught or busted, but maybe the thrill of possibly getting caught or busted is enough to take the chance. Eventually your number will come up if you do it long enough, and then comes the conclusion of whether or not it was worth it.

and yes, I agree with you Gendermutt that we do bust ourselves. These Last couple of weeks I have been flirting a lot with it, going out wearing nail polish, wearing sandles revealing my polished toenails, unzipping my jacket walking down the street revealing the feminine top I'm wearing, or even going outside for my night time cigarette wearing a skirt. Now I think about it, its like I AM trying to get that first bust done and out of the way

It does happen and One of my neighbors calls me a lady even if I have a beard, well scrubby growth. I am sure others have saw me.

If you are dressing and outside you probably were busted a long time ago. After alll, houses have windows. Unless you have a high privacy fence your neighbors are watching.

I was "BUSTED" so many times I can't count them, But I admit that's what I expected. It was a bit of a thrill at the time. But now I wear what I want and don't care who sees.

You didn't get "busted" by your neighbor, you chose to get busted. You couldn't possibly have thought that you could walk out your front door to the street in women's clothes without someone seeing you. If you didn't want your neighbor to see you, you would have changed your clothes before you went out.
