Went to an outdoor going away party for two local ladies in the lesbian community here, who are getting married and moving to Iowa together to start new careers. The hostess said that one of the girls was well known for her love of 'romper outfits', and we were encouraged to wear rompers in her honor. This was as close as I could get to a romper from my closet - a matching blouse and shorts.

Incidentally, there was a double purpose to my wearing a white scarf as a belt. I was also prepared to do some stage magic tricks at the party, and would have used the scarf and fastening ring in one of the tricks. I can securely double knot the ring onto the center of the scarf, have two people hold the ends, and effortlessly free the ring from the scarf!
