Feedback Requested - Creation of new sub forum for Gender Fluid - Non Binary Issues

    Hi All,

Earlier this week, I have placed a formal request for the creation of a sub forum to be created to discuss those issues related to gender fluid TG men and women. From being on the site for the last couple of years, my thoughts are that there is a need for such a site for those that currently post in either the CD or the TS sites, and for the vast majority get warm responses and valuable advice, but it is in theory is not the proper location for discussion. Also, I believe that this forum will help in some of the disagreements that have been had within the TS site due to the different perspectives between those who have transitioned full time and those who may be balancing between both genders.

To this end, the moderators have agreed to this site, provided that I can justify an actually demand for such a forum. To this end, can you please respond to MY ORIGINAL POST for request in the Forum Help Section.

In addition to feedback, (positive and negative) , I would also require a little honesty from you all. I can get probably 100 plus people to say this is great idea, but what I am looking for is an answer to this question: Would I have the need or desire to initiate a post in this site that was based upon its purpose, how to deal with gender dysphoria or any other issue related to being non-binary TG.

My thanks to all for there time on this and I look forward to your replies!

I have asked and received approval from the moderator (Tamara) to post this thread, to help
    garner feedback **

    thanks
    Gretch

I attempted a couple of thread (maybe it was just one) in the TS section as I think it was not appropriate for the CD section. It did not go very well. I think that it would have been better discussed among like minded folks. Maybe it would have been a discussion instead of how since I am not interested in pursuing transition it was not well received.

Just a quick FYI, I have re-opened this thread and made it a sticky so it doesn't get buried. You can post your thoughts in this thread, but there is an ongoing discussion in the help forum already. You can join in that discussion by clicking this link: -

As I just posted an actual picture of myself after months of coming to terms with my past, present, and future, it is the subtle influence of both genders portrayed that I find beauty in. I was given a diagnosis of gender dysphoria in April before my 40th birthday, came out to my parents, wife's parents, my brother, and my wife's brother. There have been many questions that I had already been asking myself, but I was given a platform to express myself and to know it was ok. In the middle of life all these years it is difficult to feel that among a community that shares a common background, it is again the sense of feeling in the middle and having to take the side of calling myself a crossdresser or trans. Here I am Tiffany but my name is James. A man with a duelling sense of self and a psychological duality that leaves me feeling comfortable being in the social middle, bigender.

To have an avenue to share those thoughts with more like minded individuals would be more comfortable and I wouldn't feel I was talking out of turn if trying to lend an opinion on someone else's post not having them share the same background and sense of self and the mental challenges GD presents.
Oh, the things we could do, if we only knew, the things we knew we could do.

As a very out,T serious woman,I feel there is a lot of discussion about living life as a transwoman in the mainstream that can't be discussed in the existing forums. I believe the new forum would be vibrant.

I believe I have a topic to discuss or get help for that would fit this new forum, it doesn't fit as just a CDing topic or as a TS subject. It has to deal with my inner feelings of my fluidity. I'm not just a CDer and I'm not a TS and TG is so unclear. I hope this forum comes to fruition soon I'm not getting any younger**chuckle**.

It may of course be a bit disturbing to sense that one is really not so firmly anchored to the gender one was born into.

Note: this sticky isn't the forum. The question presented is would you join a forum for gender fluid people and support it. You can, as of now, post your feelings and discussions in the MtF boards.

I have always felt that I was somewhere in the middle of a mythical gender scale, struggling to identify with one or the other, only to shrug my shoulders and identify as both or neither. A genderfluid forum is definitely a great idea from my perspective

This would absolutely benefit me. I haven't posted must recently because I feel like I am somewhere in the middle and most posts in the other forums don't necessarily pertain to me.

I would love a Gender Fluid forum and would like to post in it as I am in the middle struggling with my identity and have been doing that all of my life. But it seem I am drifting more towards a woman and trying to keep my male persona alive.

This section is now up and running, however until Gretchen comes online, it will be closed for posting.
