The Case of the Missing Mini-skirt

Up until I was around 16 years old, I still slept over at my male friends' houses sometimes, usually on a Friday. Reason being, we'd get drunk that night, and instead of driving home like that, I'd simply crash at their house & leave the next morning.

Anyway, one time I stayed over a buddy's house. His sister? One of the hottest GG's in high school, a couple years ahead of me. And she wore some of the nicest & skimpiest outfits. It was certainly a confusing time for someone like me at that age, LOL.

As I slowly awoke the next morning, turns out she's not home, the mother had to go somewhere, the mother's BF isn't home, and my friend had some sort of soccer game to play in.

"Feel free to make yourself some breakfast if you want," his mom told me before she left.

    The house was all mine!

I double-checked to make sure nobody was home. Then I walked into his sister's room & opened her over-stuffed closet. Whoa... Total heaven! Honestly, I wish it had been all mine. Sooo jealous.

And so much to choose from. But I didn't want to get greedy, and I was nervous as heck that I'd get caught.

I knew *exactly* what I was after... A black & white houndstooth mini-skirt. She always looked so good wearing it, and I wanted it sooo bad. I could only imagine being her & getting to wear it at school all day. She really did rock that thing. Some GG's have all the luck.

Anyway, I stuffed it in my overnight bag, and high-tailed it out of there. And if I recall correctly, that was the last time I ever slept over there. Definitely a nice parting-gift, LOL.

Later at home that evening, I had the place to myself for a few hours. It was absolute torture waiting all day for my parents to finally leave, ha! But once they did, you know what happened next.

Turns out it was a size 4 -- but somehow, it fit! (Yes, I was pretty skinny as a teenager.) And it looked really good on me. I loved that thing.

I do feel bad that she was never able to wear it again. And I always wonder what went through her mind as she was looking for it the next time.

So, on the off-chance that she's reading this, I do apologize to you... But both you & I know that was a really cute skirt!

Anyway, anyone else ever raid a *non*-family member's closet? (Not that I'm condoning it!)

Yes. And I still feel bad about it.

It was the winter of 2006. I was at a friends house and he was allowing a family to keep "their stuff" in a vacant building he owned while the family rebuilt their home after Hurricane Katrina. The mom was my age and their daughter was in her early 20's. Both were beautiful.

One day I got the nerve to go in there. It was a quick trip as the first thing I found was a high school cheerleader outfit, complete with bloomers.

It still fits to this day.

    Okay, that is pretty cruel.

And now I don't feel so bad about mine, LOL.

Nice score, though. And happy to hear you still have it, at least!

OK, a couple of clothesline panty grabs and my friends sisters bathing suit. The clothesline items were kind onof anonymous, but I felt really bad about the bathing suit afterwards...

You had to do a confession thread.

Bras from donation bins. And the one I'm really not proud of, breast forms from a cancer support center. I later donated $1000.00 to that organization.
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

Early one morning at the beach I found two bikinis hanging to dry from a few doors down on the balcony...I feel like I'm in confessional.

"Bless me father as I have sinned." The only thing I can recall stealing was a pair of pantyhose from a department store I worked at during college. I certainly could have bought them as they were not that expensive but I could not bring myself to make a purchase back then. These days I have no issue doing such. I used to think of ways of getting the $2 back to them, but have long given up on that path. I figure I may have to spend a day or two in purgatory, perhaps wearing pantyhose, before they let me in the big gate.

If you have patience, purgatory isn't so bad. I think we all need a past life regression session. We must have all been women before.

I lucked out one time when I was 17.
A neighbor who had two older daughters paid me to clean out the attic and closets and said just throw everything out.
I ended up with so much girl clothes OMG, so much stuff I could hardly hide it all.
And of course one day about six months later in shame I PURGED everything. Real bummer.

both times in college: 1. Permanently borrowed a 36C from my girlfriend's roommate. 2. Permanently borrowed a pair of panties from the dorm laundry room dryer.

I used to permanently borrow my sister's friends socks and underwear from their overnight bags when they would sleep over at the house.

I always felt bad about it.

It happened so many times that I have no idea how I was never caught and questioned.

Aaaand on the off chance that Karen is reading this, I know we are still the same size so you can come over any time and feel free to take a few things from my dresser, fair is fair. You could even take a dress if you like, I'm not sure what 20 years interest on a dozen pairs of socks and panties is.

The Missing Mini Skirt Isn`t missing any more. I have it. LOL. Funny thing. I had sent a picture of myself wearing a denim mini skirt to a friend. who gave me hell about weather i was wearing it right or not. ( I was ) But asked my step daughter to look at the pic just to make sure. And OMG where did you get that skirt? was what she said. I replied from your mother. she gave it to me a couple years ago why? Her reply was Shit I let her barrow that skirt years ago.... HAHAHAHAHA... Good thing denim never goes out of style.. LOL and for those wondering She didn`t want it Back. LMAO.... And by the way I really almost wore it Today......

    Laura,
I can't believe how things have changed, last time I put a thread like this in I was jumped on by several members who told me it's wrong to borrow temporary or permanently and to get my own clothes.

At the time I confessed to borrowing a tan leather mini skirt when I was asked to decorate a house belonging to my wife's niece , I took it home for the weekend and did a video wearing it, but it did go back. I keep promising myself a leather skirt , they have some great ones on Gumtree .

I had a pair of a friend's mum's panties - that my friend gave to me!

I was about 12 and my friend was about 15. He was showing me a porn magazine and I don't no why but I asked him if he ever wore women's underwear. His reply was "I'm wearing some right now". He could obviously see I was interested so he asked if I wanted a pair of his mum's panties and he gave me a thrilly red pair! The kind of red that was no doubt bought by her husband but disliked by his wife - but I liked them! I kept them for a couple of years but sadly purged them.

As for my friend, he used to regale me stories about how he baby-sat for our mutual next door neighbour and used to try on her clothes. I was so jealous of him for that.

Sadly, I moved away and puged him when I was no doubt trying to deny my dressing. I often wonder whether he still dresses. Of course he does! Maybe he visits this site. If you do, get in touch!

The important thing is, you made up for it, and then some!

Oh, I'm sure some who haven't chimed in aren't approving of these. But, we did what we did. Sounds like many of us were younger when it happened. And I'm sure we all feel bad about it, even to this day.

Anyway, I love reading all these. Please keep those confessions coming! (And nothing about stealing from stores, please -- that's perhaps a topic for another time. )

Oh, I'm sure many if not all of us have stolen a family member's thing or a dozen.

But it seems like a whole new line has been crossed when it's a *non*-family member, which is what I originally asked about.

The step-daughter's denim mini-skirt story is pretty funny, though, and technically they aren't blood-related.

I always borrowed clothes from an ex of mine a few years ago. Well, needless to say that when the relationship went down the toilet, I decided to keep some, and by some I mean like 5 dresses, a few skirts, and a business suit. However, in my defense she did say that I looked better in them so........

Yes, we did what we did, and we don't need to be told now that it was wrong. We know.
The church where my boy scout troop met used a classroom to store donated items during a clothing drive. In a brown paper grocery bag (remember those?), on top of clothes were a pair of high heels, and they looked to be in my size. I took them. Perfect fit. Five inch prom or bridesmaid pumps, dyed mauve.
My sister wore five inch pumps, too, which I "borrowed" at times. But I wanted my own.

Guilty, your honor. I was 14. Candystriper uniform. Borrowed from the coat closet at work when I knew the girl who it belonged to was going on vacation and wouldn't be back for two weeks. Stuffed it into a bag, took it home, added my sister's white top with the peter pan collar. Wore it often around the house while everyone else was working. Felt like heaven. Debated keeping it, but didn't want to get into trouble. Washed and pressed, returned it to the exact same hanger and spot where I found it.

That was the last chance I'd ever have to get one. I think about that, once in a while. But I have plenty of other outfits. It wasn't mine to keep.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

I stole a Speedo swimming suit from a locker room once. I loved it and kept it for a long time, threw it out once, but retrieved it from the garbage before it went out. Alas, I lost it sometime after that. I always felt guilty about it.
