Wig & make-up -- but the rest of you in guy-mode?

Am I the only weirdo here who used to do that every now & then?

I do that sometimes if I just have a new hairstyle or accessory I'm dying to try, but don't want to dress up the rest of the way.

For me its all or nothing. I think going out halfway would illicit negative reactions.

I totally agree with dolovewell...for people like that on the street is that the whole community suffers discrimination...I saw a person once in Walmart and I felt ashamed myself...

Gee karla being a little discriminatory are we?
Some guys wear make up its not that odd.
I do wear some make up in guy mode and I have long hair which most of the time is styled more towards a femme style.
So how am I hurting you or causing you to be ashamed?

I am an all or nothing girl myself when I head out. But it has more to do with the fact that I am afraid to be recognized if I don't do it all. I love to sometimes, just wear heels and a skirt at home and be in boy clothes from the waist up.

If I go out 100% girl mode I go all out but my andro 50/50 mode is fun too.
In no way am I trying to shock or go over the top in the way I dress. Its very casual and low key.
The person karla saw in WalMart must have been way over the top I don't know.
I'm just a normal TG person.

I only go out 100% or nothing.
Going out partial or under-dressed just isn't my thing.

Even at home it is all or nothing. If I am going to go through the work of putting on makeup it only takes a couple more minutes to dress.

    Laura,
For me when at home it's the other way round, I dress but no makeup or wig, if I did it the other way I'd want to dress as well, otherwise I can't see the point.

It is hard to hide Auburn hair when it is down to your back side so that is why I live my daily life in femme mode 24/7. Make up is a must to be treated as a woman. I have no problem with any of it.

Given that there is no problem with girls dressing in man clothes. Thus Im not sure where the weird part should come from.

I have very long hair. Now in male mode I wear it in a pony tail. I have gone out with it down. and wearing makeup, yep called mam when out and about. Its not the clothes but your demeanor and manners as well as etiquette. If your are fem enough you will look like a babe in male clothes. Witch isn't totally strange for a gal to be dressed like that. Likely came in from a local ranch.

I could, but I don't. That scenario would be wearing my home wear (shorts, sleeveless tee) or daily wear (women's jeans, women's cut tee under a unisex hoodie) with a wig and at least foundation, but no lingerie (the important shaping component, mind you). How well I actually blend in that way is another story.

But if we're talking about being made-up for evening dress, paired with a tuxedo, without breast forms and lingerie, it's very unlikely.
