Lynx Ladies, TG social group meeting. 3rd Fri of the month

Are you in the East Midlands, or even UK wide?

Lynx Ladies is a social group that meets on the 3rd Friday of the month in a secluded hotel just between Newark and Lincoln.

We get regular visitors from as far afield as Durham, West Midlands, and Oxfordshire. The hotel offers overnight accomodation at a reduced rate if you mention you are visiting the group. This year's charity fundraising is in aid of the Lincs/Notts/Derbys Air Ambulance, our sister group TransHaven Boston raised £240 in Dec lets help and at least double that amont for a worthwhile cause.

18th Jan 2019 is our 7th birthday party, why not come along and help us celebrate and make it a night to remember.

You can also help me celebrate my 70th birthday on that night as well.

Our next meeting is on April 21st (3rd Friday) and will have an Easter Bonnet theme, along with a bring and buy sale plus sale of ballgowns in readiness for May's Prom party evening.

Our next meeting is our 6th Anniversary party to be held at the Ramada Hotel (Newton Suite) on 26th January. Disco, bar and bar meals available. 7pm - Midnight, come along and dance your shoes away...............

Christmas Party
Christmas Party to Party 2018
8th Dec 2018 @ Urban Hotel Grantham; cost of £30 per head to include 3 course dinner and disco.
Places are limited so please book early, all monies to be paid by the October meeting. The party will follow the course of previous years where we will be with non TG parties, so best behaiviour and dress code please.

Menu choice will be available at Sep and Oct meetings but we need to choose by Oct meeting at the latest.

Hotel accommodation will be available at a cost of £32 per person (2 sharing room) please book direct with the hotel and state you are attending the party.

Following on from the Christmas party event (thanks Di for posting) our December meeting will be on 21st Dec; Into the New Year and we will be celebrating our 7th birthday with a disco and buffet event on 18th Jan 19. Usual venue Urban hotel Grantham, £10 entry for this evening, hotel accom via the hotel and ask for their FabFriday deal for a discounted evening.

The are no updates due, as meetings are not allowed due to the lockdown rules.

I am sure Carole will post them when it is time to do so.

Thanks Shelly, hopefully we will be able to resume meetings from July, depending on how things go with the pandemic; obviously we have to chat to the host venue as to when we can go ahead. Further updates around May when a lot of lockdown rules will, hopefully, be being relaxed.
