I was looking in the window of a local dress shop - January sales and thinking it would be good to try on one of the dresses.
There was a laughing "Hello what are you looking at, not for you" a friend said, her husband asked what i was interested in. I said that I was wondering what the reduced prices were. The shop owner came out of the shop and he asked her "what does the blue dress cost?" £40 she answered and went back into the shop.
He then asked me if I did wear dresses - "aa uum actually yes" I replied. He seemed a little embarassed,I changed the subject and we talked some more.
I am looking forward to the next time we meet - will he or she say anything more? I had decided to be more open about me but I hadn't thought of such a scenario.
