I recently went on a trip to the US from Sydney, to snowy Wisconsin which is a far cry from the warmer weather where I live. I had to buy a whole lot of clothes, pretty much a complete wardrobe to stay warm in fact and had a thought while browsing walmart late one night when I arrived.

I bought a few items along with the boring outfits I had to buy to stay warm.

Lots and lots of pantyhose and stay up stockings! (about 10 more than below too)

I have never ever dressed up outside of home and this was ALL SO exciting!!!!
I knew that this would be a nice way to dip my toes in to dressing if I wore a hoodie and jacket over everything and felt safe enough outside that way.

..So to continue of course I shopped for some nice shirts to match my outfits.

oh yes the pink fog had overtaken me at this point because I went shopping for shoes of course! My weak spot and something I never ever get to wear outside and hate to miss out on that experience!

So, shoes!

I have um, 400+ pairs at home (I know, um, I like shoes a LOT!) no I'm not some super rich person, I just love heels a lot more than average and want to some day have a walk in room for these nice shoes and lots of chances to wear them all!

None of those shoes though can be worn outside without being super noticeable, all being very noticeably pretty
so the next aisle was shoes, the mission, to find something that I could wear on my trip without anyone batting an eyelash or looking twice (though the pink fog might've made my judgement a little swayed so I want your opinions on these and other boots you might know of that are cute with a 'subtle' looking heel that could be as high as possible without raising too much suspicion out there for someone super nervous about dressing outside at the moment/a first timer.

omigosh I love the way these cute boots peek out from under my jean cuffs now!!! What a wonderful feeling to smile everytime I look down!

So thank you for bearing with me through my excited, squealing with delight posts as I shared my latest big thing in life!

I absolutely LOVE dressing outside when nobody knows a thing! It's so nice and no worrying about anyone causing me any harm or problems, no anxiety, just bliss and comfort!

Okay so now I need all of your help please!! I want to increase my wardrobe of items I can wear out without worrying of being discovered by all but still feeling this wonderful feeling everytime I step out the door!

The next trip happens in 2 weeks from now, and I want to do the same but with maybe higher heels that are cute but still subtle enough to wear without worry.
I also would love to add some warm clothes and just go completely en femme this time 24/7. I'll take some nighties/slips and so on for the nights with me unless I find some very cute ones there. But I definitely need hoodies, or coats, or something I can wear to keep me warm in the snowy areas up in North Wisconsin. So please add some suggestions to this thread, or maybe some of your own favourite outfits along the same lines?

yay! I love this feeling, I can't believe it took me this long!

and yes I wore everything on this list during my last trip! I even want a cute watch for the wrist I don't have my bracelet on, an anklet, some toe rings and perhaps rings for my hands that fit in, I do wear gloves after all in that cold if they're just too cute to pass up but won't pass as something subtle

I have to travel for phone calls, banking and work so it's quite boring 90% of the time with not much to do and nobody to keep me company, and I wanted to bring Veronica with me in some way but was too scared to wear my old wardrobe up there. I did go a little crazy maybe but it's all so cheap compared to Sydney really! - for a comparison 1 pair of jeans here is the same as all the jeans I bought there, 1 pair of shoes same price as all of them I bought up there.
Sydney is beautiful but super expensive to shop in.
