Hell-o All,
So it's been quite some time since I've dressed.
4 frickin' months! What the HELL? Geez!
Either the time was available, and my desire wasn't,
or vice versa. Whatever!
So it turns out a little help from a friend will make all the
difference sometimes.
I received a text from our old friend Jennifer@home. She's in town,
and would love to get together with me, AND my SO.
Well who could say no? Possibly my SO, but without a blink, she agreed
to go out with us.
I made the reservations @ Rocky Point restaurant, and was hoping to meet
with Jen in town before heading to dinner, but that old time thing kinda got
in the way again, so we just met at the restaraunt.
We got there at about 7 PM, and were cordially greeted, and seated at an awesome
window table. The whole evening was just as it should be, great service, with
no uncomfortable, or awkward situations whatsoever from any of the staff, or
other customers. (Go figure!)
Jen was kind enough to snap a selfie of the two of us as we were leaving
the restaurant.
And I also have a few others of us before we headed out to dinner.
The more interesting part of the evening (for me anyway) was after
returning home. Just sitting on the patio drinking a glass of wine with
my SO, taking about the normal daily stuff as usual, as if nothing were
any different.
Funny thing though about an hour or so later (it was getting a bit late)
she said "ok...I think it's about time you go change". Teasingly, I told her
"No way, I'm sleeping like this!", her reply was "maybe in the spare bedroom!"
To which I had to explain I was joking, and that sleeping in a wig and makeup
wasn't good for the wig, or my skin, and complied with her wishes.
