    Use of photoshop with crossdressing?

    Anyone else try this?
I've been getting into it a lot lately.

It lets you correct some of your masculine flaws without actually having to deal with them IRL!
    Is this cheating? Lol.

Well could you let me know what you think?

    Here's some of my work:

Depends on what you end up using the final photo for.
Is it to deceive others? That's most certainly cheating.
If it's just to see a 'What if' then no, have a blast.
I photoshop my pictures all the time, but if they're for posting online, then all they see is colour correction/exposure etc
NOthing wrong with photoshop, it's called pride in your work

Photos are wonderful, since I enjoy the art. Post away and have fun.
Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

They are your pictures so do as you please with them. I use it sometimes to cut out background scenes or a picture on a wall. I've even lightened or darkened the picture somewhat. It is fun to play with such as building frames around the picture and even darkening the mascara or eye shadow to see what I would look like. Very seldom do I post a picture here but when I do then what you see is the real me but just a little lighter or with the background removed.

I took a class in photo shop 20 years ago, how time flies! The program is way too expensive for hobbyists IMO. I use Gimp which is a free open source photo editing program. I also use Preview (comes with mac OS) for color correction, cropping etc.

I haven't done any editing to enhance fem features. But I edit photos to get rid of red eye caused from flash.

I just received Photoshop and find it daunting. But, I certainly see the potential. I'll slowly learn all of the basics. So far i've found that FastStone, which is freeware, work perfectly for all the general image handling that I need.
Hmm? Haven't done a photo thread in a while.
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

I use photoshop a lot, but mainly to crop and shape photos, edit backgrounds, lighten or darken pictures if needed. I have used it in the past for a few avatar pictures but the current one is exactly as taken.

I use PSP with every picture I take. With that being said 99% of the time it's to lighten/darken, remove background items, crop, resize and things along this line. I almost never touch "Me" as a rule. If I have some sort of blemish or nick that is highly visible (Like one time I had a cut on my leg) then I might remove that, or the time I went out femme and got a giant hole in my hosiery, I fixed that but every day me doesn't get touched unless I am just fooling around with a picture for fun but I never post them. There is nothing wrong with playing with your photoshop or PSP

I like realism in Sherry's pics. So, I don't use Photoshop. But, do use a photo editing program that came with my computer to edit out small defects, color tone, and brightness.

Samantha hits the nail on the head. I will crop and balance. A friend of mine has "enhanced" a couple, and they are really pretty to be sure. However, I tend to want to represent me as is, leaving my art to dressing and makeup techniques. I want to be able to walk in the room and get the live "you are beautiful" response.

I don't use photoshop because what I capture in photos will exactly be what others see of me, and it's important to know which parts I'm lacking to pass perfectly.

Nothing wrong with doing that for fun, but don't use the altered photos to fool people into thinking that it's how you really look. That just leads to complications.

I very much enjoy photography and have all of my life. I go back to the film days and had a darkroom in my home for many years so playing around with final images is very much in my nature. Now that everything is digital, the darkroom process is infinitely easier. No messy chemicals, long waits and lots of money. Just the click of a mouse, couldn't be easier!
I use Photoshop frequently as I take pictures much differently now. I generally shoot things fairly wide and high res now and leave the majority of composition etc to post. So much easier that way. The current editions of PS make it quite easy to make bigger boobs, thinner thighs etc but I try to stay away from that, I just like to enhance what is genuinely there.
I've attached a couple of before and after images that I did for a CD friend through e-mail (therefore, not super high resolution). She looks much better without the changes being too heavy handed I think...

Yeah I usually don't actually use the real photoshop either for i am broke.

yeah I typically go in with a brush and highlight dark areas or smooth blemishes on the skin, then apply a blur to smooth out rough features and then mess with the lighting. Crop if necessary.

I think we all do a little to improve lighting and stuff. And then sometimes we go overboard!

I am still learning how to do cutouts, face smoothing, layers and masks. I am using and outdated version of Serif for photo editing. One of my favorites involves placing my cutout image on a dark clouds background. I also sometimes add some major cleavage by borrowing from a bra ad.

It's funny to hear guys who use women's clothing, makeup, and wigs to look like a woman say it's deceitful to use photoshop.
I use photo makeup and face makeup for the same reason: to achieve the look I want.

I stopped using PS for the most part when I got good with makeup, lighting, and color theory. I can now limit photoshop to cropping, resolution changes etc

I never felt the need to utilize it myself. All of my pics are untouched in ambient lighting.

There are photoshop tutorials on youtube that will show you how to completely change the contour, color, etc., of every part of your body. It all depends upon how far you want to go. If I remember correctly, if you use the right filters and effects, you can even make yourself into a cartoon. Then there are the apps that we can use to merge someone else's picture with our own. All to try to see how we'd look if we were female.

The degree to which you can change someone's looks using it is incredible.

    This one was amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17j5QzF3kqE

And something like this is what it would take for me to approach looking like an attractive GG, but see, it can actually be done:

Some causes of crossdressing you've probably never even considered: My TG biography at:http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...=1#post1490560
There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
