    Airline pilot.

We have supplied uniforms, so I can only underdress at work (panties and sports bra). Can wear what I like at home.

Electrical engineer, love my work but I would not be able to dress in from of my coworkers. I do under dress, ladies socks or tights, painted toes. underwear. I have a bit of a commute as well and sometimes leave the house in femme and change in an empty parking lot on the way. I enjoy the feeling of choosing a pretty outfit as I get ready for work.

I've worked in nursing for almost 30 years. I've only dressed completely fem at work on Halloween on a couple of occasions. Used to wear panties and hose under my uniform pants occasionally but haven't done so for years.

I'm a tour bus driver all over the US and Canada. Always underdressed. And on multiple day tours, I always have at least a couple of dresses in my suitcase to wear while relaxing in my hotel at night, plus a couple of nighties to wear to bed if the room is cool.

Hi girls, my first post! I just retired as a corrosion specialist and wore panties most every day and sometimes wore nylon or satin camisoles under my shirts. While away on overnight trips, I'd bring dresses, skirts, blouses, etc, but never ventured outside of my hotel room.

Still working (factory) and not going to at work on any level , until I get to closer to retirement (ie 72) . Win some loose some .

Master technician for harley Davidson and I wear my nails painted almost every day dark shades i did show up one hand black and the other one hot pink because the day before on my granddaughter's birthday I painted all the girls nails black and pink so I painted mine to match I think it's funny it makes so many people uncomfortable and can't stop staring at my hands you can just see in their eyes that they want to say something I've shown up with mascara and eyeliner because I didn't have enough makeup remover to get it all off before I went to work I had most of it off. but you could tell. honestly I get more compliments on my nails then anything I think more guys just wish that they could pull it off the women seem to love it just got to own it make it yours besides who cares do you. by the way I'm 43 and cross-dressing 30 years only been doing full dress for the last two though Halloween kicked it off and now it's about perfection

I work in the oil industry and while its not quite as macho as Bruce Willis made it look in Armageddon it IS very much a place where cross dressing wouldnt work, I do know of a couple of trans ladies who have been in the north sea though.
To be honest its not a place I’d like to dress, its not a very comfortable place even at the best of times.

I work for City government, mostly outdoors although I have an office, and I'm in the National Guard. I wear panties every day, sometime more subdued than others, but very rarely more than that. My toenails are currently painted pink and sparkly, but that's another post.

I'm 62 and am a passenger train driver for past 19yrs, before that I was a freight train driver. I have been under dressing for more years than I can remember. In the last couple of years I have been wearing bras with D size breast forms under my work uniform and eye shadow and mascara, I have only had 3 people say anything to me, one transferred to another depot another retired and the third has learned to keep his mouth shut. Although a close friend that I work with and knows that I'm a crossdresser has heard others talking about me in the sign on room.
With the companies anti discrimination rules, they cannot say or do anything as they could be charged if I reported them and they could end up without a job.
Oh, forgot to mention that I also wear a not so noticeable nail polish on my finger nails and have a dark red nail polish on my toes, I also wear a perfume to work called Tabu, it's nice but doesn't smell too feminine.

I'm retired now, but my career was in software engineering, latterly with communications and network management, and including work with teams developing international standards.

I had no wish to be "out" as Marianne (except to my wife), and I don't underdress (as I mentioned in another thread), so I didn't express my feminine side at work except in two very minor ways. One was growing long fingernails--which I remember caused comment on one occasion when I was giving a presentation, and my fingernail, which I was using in the absence of a pointer, was projected onto the screen!

The other was when I pierced my ears. This was a whole generation ago when as far as I could see it was mainly gay guys who wore earrings. Today of course it's entirely different, with lots of guys wearing all kinds of weird junk in their ears, so I do wear ear studs openly today. But back then I didn't want it to be noticed by the people I worked with during that time when you've just done the piercing and you have to keep studs in your ears to keep the hole open while it heals. So I cut down a paper clip to make two tiny rods just long enough to fit into my earlobes without protruding or showing in any way, painted over with some primer so the ends wouldn't look shiny, and covered up with makeup on my earlobes. Even from quite close quarters they weren't noticeable, especially to people who wouldn't be looking for them in the first place. It wasn't exactly hypoallergenic, but as an engineer in spirit, I felt quite proud of that as a miniature "engineering" job in itself!

I decided in graduate school to live full time as Paula. Here in the south, not all employers are TG friendly, so I started my own marketing research firm. The first three years all my contracts were obtained online and I didn't meet a single client face to face until after we were contracted. I've only lost one that signed up and that was a political decision! BTW....I have about 30 years to retirement, but can't wait!!!!!!!

I'm an editor. I underdress every day, but not ready to go beyond that at my current workplace. Would love to find work that would let me dress full-time!

The real plus side was handling all those lovely gowns in the course of my work, my secret desire was to be one of the bridesmaids , they had the most fun at weddings .
I shoot weddings in my spare time, and handling all the gowns is definitely a bonus! I am very much attracted to all things pretty and feminine, and there's arguably nothing more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day. In this line of work, shooting hetero weddings, dressing feminine isn't really any option, as I see my job is to capture the day, rather than cause a stir with the guests.

I would actually love to get a job to shoot a two bride wedding, with double the dresses and double the beautifully made up girls to shoot. I don't care if it's two GG or one GG + a trans or CDer. But no, I haven't done anything about selling to this market, I know I should.

Anyway, my day job is working with databases and other computer software type stuff. With a freedom dress-code at work, I underdress and wear lady's jeans to work everyday. If I weren't closeted (except to my wife), I would definitely go into the office dressed. I was once on the phone with someone from another office, she has a female name, and everyone refers to her as her, except her voice and the way she spoke was unmistakably male. I really wanted to ask her if she's trans and make myself a new friend, but didn't want to offend her. So, I think the employer would be accepting, as much as the general public is capable of anyway. The job itself definitely doesn't prevent it.

Damn OHP! I don't actually remember ever using a OHP in work, the last time I used one was as a student 20+ years ago. That wouldn't be a problem nowadays though with everything digital.

Retired sales rep for a major US company. Collect social security and a pension plus I still work part time to keep some extra money rolling in. when I worked full time the company's policy was full acceptance and I was free to crossdress as much as I wanted to while at work. I wore makeup, earrings, had my fingernails painted at all times and of course underdressed. My outer clothing was women's slacks and blouse. I wore a unisex wig and had no problems. Some of my co-workers knew about my cross dressing and I'm sure that others were at the least a bit suspicious. We had a gay male and a gay female working there so needless to say they had no problem with me. Company policy was very to the point that alternative gender identity was accepted and that any harassment would not be tolerated. I now work part time for a different company but their policy is the same as my previous company. Though I can wear whatever I want I have toned it down somewhat regarding outer clothing.

Lab tech in an Army Hospital. I don't get to dress there. I also work part time as an actor and have done a couple of jobs as Stacey. Stacey made brief appearance in the first episode of season 3 of the HBO series The Leftovers.
