If you were to join a local Support group, that is one of the most probably events you'll find for the year. I am going to a Crossport sponsored party at a bar again this year, AND a party thrown by one of my forum sisters. You could just go to a bar known for CD, (not seedy) clientele and INTRODUCE your self, and mingle.
Just a suggestion.
Oh, and if your looking for a date, just be a little careful out there. One night stands sound exciting and all, but rarely meet expectation. No matter what your orientation.

I'm in a local girls social group, and we meet up about every 6 weeks ago.
We often have themed meetups like Valentine's day (bring your spouse or SO), spring (a femm hat contest), Christmas (wear a ball gown) and of course Halloween. While not everyone comes in costume, I always do. Last year I came as a belly dancer and the year before that as a "Hooters Girl".

We have a number of such events in the LA area every year. I won an award for my costume at a major one last year!
However, the beauty of Halloween is I can attend most any public vanilla Halloween event. I go to a lot of these!
And, no one will have a clue I'm not a woman until I have to say something!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!
Just about any adult Halloween party is an opportunity to show your true self. I've been to many dressed in a femme costume. That said, the kind of things you mentioned in the OP are available at your local (or reasonably local) monthly TG/CD support group meeting. They are at mine, well, except for dating.

I already go to a local halloween party dressed up. Alot of my local friends and their friends expect me in some sort of dress every year so nothing to worry about there!

Join a support group and do that once or twice a month depending on how many outings they usually have.
Don't just wish it could be, make it happen girl !
That would be nice, we don't have any support groups here. But I went to our workout club as a girl last year.
