Just noticed... signed up here 10 years ago today.(Dressing [seriously] for approx 35 years)
Strangely, this year has been THE year, out of all of my life, for...? Venturing out, mostly at night, one time during the day. Buying first makeup bit 'n' pieces, buying LOTS of nice new clothes and undies, as well as accessories, purses etc
That's it really... Other than onto the next ten...

U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

Congrats to you and allow me to share the joy if that's okay. I can't remember my first posts but I know I've learned a lot and probably changed my mind more than once. I've had my confidence boosted, skills improved and understanding of the challenges others face expanded. I had been going out for 6 years already so I didn't have that achievement to share as anything other than a "war story". And my wife found out about my crossdressing before I joined as well, but we stayed together and that gave me insight on a very important issue we see here almost daily. But since I started posting here, I've joined a support group, gotten counseling, cared for my wife as she died, come out to my adult children and others in and out of the family, learned so much about this vast and varied community. On top of that I've had the real pleasure to meet a bunch of forum members in person over the years. It has been the best club I ever joined!
The 10 year reunion of the Class of 2007 can meet on line to look (and maybe laugh) at old photos and remember stories and adventures since we first joined this wonderful sorority. I'll get my 10-year pin in a little less than two months. My life is better off for the time spent here!

You should post more. I joined 2 years after you but have more than 4 times as many posts. I think of some people who post frequently that I "know" them, and I think that's true. Every time we say something we expose a little bit of us to others.
