    Five Year Journey Ends

    I have now undergone my GRS at The Nuffield Hospital Brighton UK, (19th September 2017) after my medical journey with the NHS entailed a period of just over five years.

    I am now at home recovering and the signs are, 'all appears to be going well'. My final bridge has been crossed and I am now the real person I knew I was in waiting for so many years. I can now face the world without any pretence as a new life for me rolls out.

    Good luck to all who are still waiting? rest assured your journey will be worth it in finality;

    Congratulations! Now go out there and shine.
    I am not a woman; I don't want to be a woman; I don't want to be mistaken for a woman.
    I am not a man; I don't want to be a man; I don't want to be mistaken for a man.
    I am a transgender person. And I'm still figuring out what that means.

    Congratulations! Take it easy, take time to heal.

    Hi Persephone,

    Thanks for the shout, I think most girls who have experienced this? know all about the slow time after surgery and I am finding that out;

    Kind regards

    Congratulations on your successful surgery. You definitely increased your chances of success by not meeting me
