    Halloween costume ideas! Help!

Hi ladies! I need help finding a costume idea for a Halloween party. Although my wife knows about my dressing my family don't so I can't go dressed up but was hoping to come up with an idea where I could at at least add make up! I thought Marilyn Manson. Does anyone else have any ideas?

    Thanks 😊

I like the Bowie idea, but your friends are likely to young to appreciate it. How about Harle Quin. It was so popular last year with the GGs, so this year it could be put over as something funny.

I did the cat thing for several years. Basically all femme makeup and a black nose and a wig. Received a lot of positive comments, from women.

I’ve gone out dressed as an outrageous drag queen. YouTube has great videos for ideas. No one knew how great I felt. I received many compliments.

The Joker from Batman would be relatively timely. Then you have your choice of Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, Jack Nicholson, or Caesar Romero.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

I had the same problem and then decided to be a cheer leader. Found a great outfit on Amazon and will wear it to hand out candy on Halloween evening. Not worried about neighbors, as several have come dressed with their kids over the years. Should be fun although my wife just rolled her eyes at the thought

Sugar skulls are more Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) than Halloween. Save that for All Souls Day.

I'm waiting for someone to costume up as Bugs Bunny in drag.......

A few years ago my wife was a wild west gambler complete with an ace of spades with a bullet hole in it on her hat and I went as a saloon girl.

Of the 5 awards I won both the Most Original and Best Overall. Funniest and Scariest don't count but I wished I had gotten Sexiest.

Peach. Just a shot in the dark... The song Betty Davis eyes. You can go in drab with your face all painted accenting your eyes. Like I said, a shot in the dark. Another might be a male witch. All dressed up in Black, a velvet cake. Wild heavy makeup dark eyes. Sorry if I wasn't any help.

I don't give a rip about theme. I just want to put on a gown and GO OUT!!!!!, for crying out loud.
I am not widely socially active in the CD or TG scene here in Denver/Boulder metro. I don't have a Halloween party I can go to or where I've been invited. I am absolutely DYING to get dressed up and go out for Halloween...... I mean DRESSED UP !!!!

Or if you want to really push some limits, do a half-and-half outfit: left half feminine, right half masculine. Get a suit and an old gown, cut each in half, sew them together, do the makeup (talk about challenging!), and just have fun with it! Oh, and don't go outrageous for the heels, you'll be walking lopsided all night.

Has anyone tried a mother of the bride costume? I was going through my dress inventory and found about 4 dresses that are formal enough and yet not the show stealer all brides dread. BTW, I intend on going as a flapper this year. I am almost as old (sic).
