I guess I'm a bit more Nikki than a Becky; when I dress to go out, I'm all feminine with makeup etc., but not always to the nines... just totally female as best as I can.

For those of you gals that are thinking about leaning more like a "Nikki" be careful what you ask for...I have a high amount of GD because I don't look sufficiently feminine to match up with the feminine feelings I have inside...it's so very hard for me to look in the mirror in boy mode...I feel horrible seeing my male self in the mirror. I can tolerate seeing me when I'm all dressed up but even then I'm not content.

Nikki I don't believe that being a Nikki would make GD any more or less. I get GD at times because I am stuck in drab and need to express my inner Becky...
A.K.A Rebecca & Bec
I think I realised that I do have a little bit of Nikki in me (Isn't there a song about that? Mambo no 5) When it comes to beard and particularly upper lip moustache shadow, I can quite safely say that I am obsessively aware of not having even the slightest bit of shadow showing under my makeup. I think its probably the quickest way to be clocked as a guy as even when a woman has a bit of facial hair its surface not a shadow.
I have solved the problem permanently by having laser and now I have no dark hairs left just a salute to my inner Nikki!!

I tried being a Becky two nights ago...epic fail! The natural look is ok, but it's certainly not me!

hello
" Nikki will not sleep enfemm as she can't sleep in makeup."
Would a GG go to bed without first removing her makeup?
luv J
i`m Nikki 75% ( the better I look ,the better I feel),and Becky 25%,winding down,bedtime,time to rest.
J, That's really too funny...I guess I'm a Becky while sleeping since I do remove my makeup (not happy about it) before going to bed!

As an elder there is little makeup can do to make me pass as a woman. Forget about the six foot, 200 pound male inside a dress. I use to do all out when going outside the home. It was makeup and nail polish. Maybe at that time in my life I had to try to pass off myself to myself. I did take some pictures in my early 30's. Except for height (not so much about weight then) I believe I was passable. I've matured in my thinking which means I am accepting of myself. I'm a man who likes to wear women's clothing. Part of the illusion is to create breasts which are nice water filled balloons. The balloons simulate weight and bounce of a breast which is 98% water anyway. I look around and notice not all women have that Barbie doll figure. Some do not even have indentations at the hips. I feel there is no need to present that illusion. I wonder if wearing hip pads and thigh pads to create that look also makes one feel uncomfortable. At least my simulated breasts pull the shoulder straps of my bra down which is a common complaints of heavy breasted women I know. Heck, two had breast reduction surgery for medical reasons.
Most of my femme time is spent at home doing domestic chores; washing, ironing, baking, meal preparation, vacuuming, etc. There is no need to glam up to do those chores. My wife doesn't. She'd think I was crazy anyway to do domestic chores in a dress and heels. She wears pants and no makeup around the house. She does not need it. When she goes to work or even to a social function she only wears lip color. Frankly, she does not need any makeup. That's fairly good for a woman over 65. When my wife has gone out of town to visit relatives even with the opportunity to glamorize myself, it's only lip gloss and facial makeup to even out the inconsistent coloration of my male face.
So throw me in with Becky.
One glimpse at my photo threads and it’s obvious Danielle is a “Nikki”. A lot of it has to do with historically Danielle days can be few and far between. It used to be a couple of times a year and now I try for once a month but sometimes it stretches to 2 or 3. Therefore Danielle doesn’t feel complete unless she is dressed to the nines. There is an almost a obsessive compulsive need to have every feminine detail attended to. If her toenails are not painted or she doesn’t have long nails it just doesn’t look complete when she looks in the mirror or looks at photos later. That’s not to say I don’t try on clothes and experiment with wigs without makeup on but the goal is mainly to save time when a Danielle Day comes along.
However, in the last few weeks, I have put on a complete Danielle outfit sans makeup and then relaxed on the computer and not rushed to try on another outfit. It was surprisingly relaxing and kind of contradicts everything I have said above. Maybe after 65 years Danielle is finally growing up a bit

Like Daisy, I am a Becky, but I strive to be a Nikki! Becky everyday with Nikki on occasions when she can come out.
Traci
I just want to be pretty once in a while
More a Becky than a Nikki.
I do like to take some extra time every now and then and go all out.
I dress in womens clothes everyday and not in the closet so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
I'm the reverse of Traci and Tracii...most often a Nikki but occasionally a Becky

It is good we can be whatever we want to be in most cases.
No way I could fit in Nikki's size 3 dresses tho'. LOL
I am a total Becky. At some point I will eventually dress to the nines but I will still always be a Becky.
100% Becky, but I also love to slip into Nikki when my time permits. So that puts me above a 100%
Happy Heels!
Tracii...you're too kind...size 3...in my dreams!...I'm more of a size 14 and occasionally will find a size 12 dress that fits. I do wish I was petite but alas I'm not

Well you always look fantastic Nikki.
I am a Becky as I do sleep in nighties although I have not yet gotten into makeup but I think that will just be for going out. I am still very comfortable just in simple girly looks but I cannot wait to shave my Stash and goatee. My wife is still not ready for me to loose it as I have had it the entire 18 years we have been together.
You see girls Beckys have it so much better, a Becky can dress to the 9s and look and feel gorgeous (as of course do Nikkis) But a Becky can also be really happy in a nightie and panties in bed with no makeup just like a GG would be (and as I am now) which a Nikki of course can't do!!
I am planning a makeover & outing this week so hopefully I will enjoy dressing to the 9s and have some pics to share too!!
A.K.A Rebecca & Bec
I'm a Becky, although I do dress down, I do enjoy wearing a casual skirt and black oblique tights. A look I see plenty of GGs wearing.
I'm kind of both, when I go to sleep, I get completely back to male mode. I can't sleep with make-up and a wig. Also, there is my wife too.
Becky, I considered my casual "Becky" look an epic fail b/c when wearing just a little bit of makeup I just look too masculine which bothers my gender dysphoria immeasurably. Fortunately, I don't have to wear beard cover b/c my hair color is so light and the amount of facial hair I have is, fortunately for a girl at heart like me, not very impressive. Maybe I'll try a natural look again but with more makeup this time. I am allowed to apply mascara, some eyeliner, a hint brown eye shadow, an earthy toned lip, and a bit of blush don't I? If you're asking me to go with less cosmetics than that you can forget me ever trying a casual look again! Nikki
