Whilst looking at prostheses in a specialist bra shop, I was asked if I would like to be fitted.

I was dressed and the lady knew I was trans.

$100 later. A great set of Amoena forms that were priced much higher.

I was asked to come back again when I needed more or just to see what else was on offer.

It left a lasting impression on me.

Jess, I was there, too. Thursday and Friday. I'm From Mass. so I didn't stay at the hotel, but I thoroughly enjoyed both days.

The state police stopped to see if I was ok, so did the highway assistance truck. Both left when told I had a tow coming. Then dealing with the mid twenties tow truck driver. OMG the fear was all in my head. No one batted an eye or said anything unkind. The tow truck driver was nothing but professional and the incident passed without so much as a smirk.
That most certainly took away much of the fear of traveling alone, dressed, and being me.
Good for you, Cheryl. I would have found that blood-chilling although one can never be sure that cops and tow truck operators aren't sometimes wearing fetching silkies underneath, themselves

For me, it was being outed by my wife to her sister! One Saturday, she suggested that I get fully dressed in a skirt, Nylons, wedges, wig, makeup and accessories as she wanted to take me shopping in another town about 30 miles away. We've done this before and it's always fun, so, GREAT! Got all dressed and drove to the Mall and there we walked into a Mall restaurant and were quickly joined by her sister! Having known her well for more than 30 years, it was quite humiliating to be presented as Donnasue! It turns out that she had been told of my CD'ing a few weeks earlier and didn't believe it, so this meeting had been staged without my knowledge. Her eyes checked me out from top to bottom and all she could say was "lovely"! I made her promise to keep this to herself, which she has. The longer we sat there, the more I was asked about how feminine I felt and how, on earth, had I learned the mannerisms and softer speech. It was only then that she learned that I had been CD'ing for about 10 years! (I couldn't get over the fact that I was getting sexually aroused by this situation, but I was able to maintain my dignity!). In retrospect, this exposure was very good for me as It awakened me to the reality that I really want to be "out", have been afraid to do so and that this turned out to be a very pleasant experience. Now, I'm waiting to see how this news is handled as we get together for family events.

2017 was not as good as 2016 in terms of my fem-self. It was not bad, but the lack of free time and thus the ability to fully express myself limited “Amanda time”. We were just busy with other things.

There were some fun highlights, but the one that sticks out was during the Holidays when exchanging gifts. My wife presented a separate package for Amanda. Then we had some friends and family over and one of our gg friends who knows about me, also had a separate gift for Amanda.

It was so nice that they recognized the other part of me and when shopping for gifts.
