Envy of those who went out New Years Eve

I been dressing for 60 yrs and before I got remarried I use to go to parties dressed to the 9s. Now I sit home and read about you that go out and party. I miss it. So last night the wife goes to bed early 9 o'clock. Before midnight around 11 I start thinking about dressing. I'm down stairs she been sleeping for a few hours. I'm underdress anyway with bra and panty my stash is right here with me. So I get out the blue dress I had just brought my heels and wig. Got dressed put on some makeup earrings necklace. I even let my dog out I forgot how cold it was in you have a dress on in the winter. Stayed up till 1 in the morning changed back and went to bed.

All in all I had a good time but do miss going out dress to parties.

No need to be envious sounds like you celebrated on your own.
I stayed home in warm PJ's and drank hot chocolate.

Glenda -- Sounds kind of bittersweet, but if you had a good time, then cool. Not all of us are party girls. My sweetie and I spent NYE doing a magic show in a nearby town (she's a professional magician, I did stage manager duties) so by the time we got home we were beat and collapsed on the couch, watched a football game we had DVR'd from earlier in the day and ate supermarket sushi. At midnight we popped the champagne, sent out the usual text messages and called it a night. But it was a good night.
I am not a woman; I don't want to be a woman; I don't want to be mistaken for a woman.
I am not a man; I don't want to be a man; I don't want to be mistaken for a man.
I am a transgender person. And I'm still figuring out what that means.

I didn't go out either, but my wife and myself had a few drinkies and saw in the new year together. We live near the city center so also got a free fireworks display. At least you got to dress Glenda.
    Here today, gone tomorrow....

Being 70 the wife can't stay up late. Plus we're in a DADT marriage. So she doesn't want to see me dressed. I don't dress fully when she's around but I just had to last night.

Rang in the new year alone. My wife gets up for work at 4:00 am so she was asleep.

I was wearing this beautiful strapless $7 taffeta dress I purchased from a thrift store earlier in the day.

Never was a party person so I don't get the itch to go. With that being said I wore my flannel nightie with wool socks and me in my slider/rocker with Buddy at my feet by the fire and contemplated the last year and the new one upcoming. The chiming of the mantle clock striking midnight signaled time for bed for these two old dogs.Calm and peaceful just the way I like it.

It may of course be a bit disturbing to sense that one is really not so firmly anchored to the gender one was born into.

Well, I spent last nite quietly at home. Went to bed at 9:15 PM.
Instead of going to a big invitation only party at a Hollywood Hills mansion.
I had hoped to wear my gold avatar gown there.

But, sick as a dog with 101 degree fever? Dressing wasn't even on my mind!

So let's suppose she wakes up and goes looking for you and finds you all dolled up. What then?

Krisi as far as her get up and see me all dolled up. Is that I told I was a crossdresser before we got married and we had a talk last year about it. That I wasn't going to stop. Nothing would happen she would be mad but after awhile she would be ok. It was that way when she found some of my things before our talk.

I went out enfemme. I went to a drag show at an LGBT club. It was cold here as well so I definitely bundled up.
