I'm curious if there is s subtle signal, emblem, piece of jewelry etc that identifies crossdressers to each other when we're not in our feminine mode?

hello,
there should be!

I wear lipstick everyday, don't now if anyone got a signal, if it is one.

Wanting something is a fantasy which on a long time period clouds your mind and makes you think you need it.

I wouldn't think so. Anything 'secret' would soon become common knowledge and I doubt many crossdressers would walk around with a visible sign identifying what they are.(maybe some would.....)

Here today, gone tomorrow....
Eye shadow and mascara would be a definite tell. So far, tho, I've avoided sending any signals, nor have I looked for anyone else's.
Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.

I wear my bra, (under dressed) every day, that might give it away.

I heard it suggested one time to wear a certain colored rubber band on the left wrist.

Watch how we walk. There's the signal - dead giveaway.
There is a transgender flag; but that's more something you'd see at pride festivals and on some TG/CD friendly establishments.
Other than that, we can only rely on what visual clues we know and can see. That's problematic and forces one to make assumptions that we prolly shouldn't be making.
Like Karen said, a rubber band, but I've never noticed anyone wearing one
I wear an obvious earring, left ear only, and my chest/breast shape must be obvious sometimes. Often my shoes are heeled and feminine looking. None of these seems to have indicated anything different about me to people outside my family and close friends.
I just checked my crossdresser handbook and I find nothing that provides the rule for this.

the symbol for this site seems to me to be a good "sign". if you are in the know you would alrweady know what it means. if a person does not know what the symbol means and asks, the answer is simple. "this is a ying-yang symbol showing equality and balence and it is blue and pink for the equality of gender
I'm going with Paul Newman's forefinger upside the nose, from the movie "The Sting"
There resides within me a Woman, and she is powerful.
She has been my Grace and Bearing on the stormiest seas.
I could no more deny Her than I would my own soul.
Attachment 289399How about this?
Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.
no way I'd wear that.. I'm trans, not gay.
i am what I am, I do what I do..
i do not seek approval from others.
Not without being as subtle as a brick!

I thot it was when you're a guy in a dress, wearing earrings in both ears?
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

What ever is done should be an "I'm a supporter" kind of meaning. Not to imply gay or trans. That way it doesn't define anyone as anything
If you do a search on this site of this subject you will see we have many post on this.
Personally I don't see the point.
If I am out in girl mode not much chance I am going to wear some trinket saying I'm a guy in womens clothes.
I have a pride bracelet and I do wear that in my guyish mode but I am gay so its not a big deal.
